I think we have to widen our positional concepts to accommodate Pep's philosophy but if this unlikely rumour turns out to be true it would be a genuinely epic signing, arguably a better prospect than Mbappe. Your so wrong Saul it's painful.

Don't forget, also, that Thierry Henry started out being played out wide at Monaco (albeit by Arsene Wenger), so who knows where this particular character will end up in Pep's fluid system.

There is speculation that this is so out of the blue that it may be a 'leak test' whatever that is.

Pep's golfing somewhere abroad, so who did he dine with. More ITK stories to whet our appetites, Dortmund only signed him last year & are reputed to be letting Aubameyang go, so how would that work

Pep was playing golf at the Belfry, which is in Lichfield and Tuchel got sacked which apparently upset Dembele - but you are still correct to call it highly unlikely - depends on the dosh I suppose

Fine. Should i have said we dont need any more midfielders? Yes i know Pep once said hed like 80 midfielders or something but lets be realistic. We're not paying 90M for Dembele when we have Sane, Sterling, Jesus, KDB, Silva, Yaya, B Silva, Fernandinho, Gundogan, and, for the time being, Delph, Nolito, and Fernando and maybe Sanchez coming in.

He had dinner with Pep... can they not think of something more original than that.

Source credibility aside, I wouldn't mind breaking the bank for this kid. Nailed on future Ballon d'Or winner.

Word is we're signing a really good CB prospect from La Masia. wonder what will happen with his first season here...loan to Girona or Breda? EDS? or 4th choice CB with first team only playing in early cups, if that?

Eric Garcia but he's only 16 - not 4th choice this season I think.

rumor that Napoli are trying to sign Geronimo.
we'd exercise our buyback and then sell to Napoli/loan with obligation to buy.
