A rumour I can get behind...

Where that would leave some other players' future...I dunno (Nacho, Sané?)

Next summer rather than winter seems most likely.

Absolutely no.

He is a rag cunt and horrible character to be around. No need for the likes of him near our dressing room.

Really? Disappointing if true as he is a brilliant player who I think would flourish under Pep

Would take huge pile of cash to lure him tho

Hasn't he recently signed a new contract until 2021? Will be a word record to get him.

He is a class A cunt. A very good player, but a despicable guy to be around.

When he was at France u19 national team for a tournament, they played a game here in Romania and broke the ankle of a player from out national team. The fucker was laughing a few seconds later. Also heard stories about him at San Sebastian, similiar of how he was acting depending of his salary was in his pocket before games. In Spain, there were a few delays at some teams, a week or even a month salary. During the Euro, not many french fans were that happy he was there, even if he was class.

Of course that does not matter, but I would not want a proper rag in our squad. The social media wankfest between him and Pogba is terrible.

Also, he doesn”t fit in our system. No way I would play him in front of Sergio or Ian.

That's a quite fascinating post and viewpoint PP; thanks for that.

Just as a matter of interest and speaking objectively, what are his footballing strengths and also those footballing weaknesses which make you suggest he wouldn't fit into our system ?? (genuine question, as you obviously have far greater knowledge of him than most).

Joe Hart and every Rag he can find to Hug after Derby defeat, added to see you later at X Factor is OK, Just asking PP.

As many, I did not like the way Joe acted around them, but I think that is a difference on acting like that and being a United fan, which Joe I genuine think he was/is not.

@Mikhail

I will write here to avoid a double post. Griezmann is very similar to Sergio, if you ask me. He is not a wide player, but a poacher, even if his height is not helping him much, he is very quick, same as Serge. Trying a system with him as a wide player in our squad would be very bad for us and we would fail to use his ability at the 100%. Ian look for me the normal succesor of Aguero up front. With more and more game time, Ian will score on and on and will become world class, I have no doubt in that.

I have the same opinion with Aubameyang. I am trying to figure where can we put him in the squad at the moment and I have no idea.

Hasn't Aubamayeng played wide in a three previously PP, genuine question, I've only ever seen him play through the middle but I'm sure I've read he's just as good a wide forward as a centre forward?

As for Griezmann, if he were to join then surely he'd be vying with Silva/KDB for that role behind the striker? Again I haven't seen an awful lot of him but from what I have seen he seems more of a 10 to me than a 9, would that be fair?

He can play across anywhere in the front 3, but has been at his best as a 2nd/shadow striker or a no. 10/false 9, so yes, he could be somewhat of a Silva replacement. Was put out wide for France in the Euros to start but was not as effective. Was benched and then back as the striker where he started scoring again.

He has pace, is a very good finisher and passer, and works hard on both ends.

Not sure about all of these things PP is accusing him of. He was a teenager in San Sebastian, to be fair. A lot of professional footballers are egomaniacs. It's the nature of things at this point. Good luck finding saints at the top levels of many sports. You actually need a bit of arrogance to make it so far in professional sport/entertainment at a young age, so it's complicated.

At Atleti, Simeone uses him in a 4-4-2, with Torres or Gameiro. When they defend, they become a 4-4-1-1 with him and Torres/Gameiro switching their places depending on the opponent. Tried the same with Mandzukic and Jackson Martinez, but they sold them both because they could not fit the system Simeone was using.

With Aubameyang, I think Phips is the best guy to give us all the info. From what we all saw this season, he is playing as a Poacher or shadow striker, difficult to understand, because he comes often and defends in a trio with Guerreiro, Dembele. He is the main man, up there, but as I said, I have no idea how he would work here.

No thank you. Arrogant little shit; the French Michael Owen. Not at all the right personality for a City team. Let United have him at vastly inflated price right at the end of his career.
