There were no misunderstandings. It was quite clear what his agent said - several times whilst Yaya remained silent.
Anyway, I thought Pep was demanding an apology from Seluk?
Seluk has just been on talksport and said he doesn't apologise; that he has nothing to apologise for.
Great times Yaya, but fuck off now.

Curious, but it is an apology for his misunderstandings I think,

"I wish to apologise - on behalf of myself and those who represent me,"

and also on behalf of his agent it would seem.

So the choreographed interview by his slug on TS, continuing to refuse to apologise, raises the question of whether Yaya can still be punished after doing all in this power to accede to Pep's requirements. Natural justice says he has done his part, albeit reluctantly and tardily, so he must now be back into consideration for selection.

Not in this case as Pep explicitly said he wanted an apology from his agent.

The main actor here is Yaya, he is the one with the contract and if he apologises for his employee's actions that constitutes a remedy. I think ;)

Odd that he chooses now to apologise. Now that we've beaten Barca and really look like a team that could really go somewhere.
I would think he either makes Seluk apologise or sack him.
In fact sacking him would really cement Yaya's legendary status in my mind. It would be proof enough for me that he seriously wants to be part of this.
Anything else unfortunately proves nothing. I still see this as part of their game of what's best for Yaya &Co. rather than what's best for City.

Shit or get off the pot Yaya.

We beat Barcelona and suddenly he wants back in.

Sorry, Yaya. It doesn't work like that.

PEP: I spoke with Yaya today, of course it’s a private conversation. It’s good news for Manchester City. #mcfc

still unclear

He said: "I spoke with him this morning. It was private. I know what he said. What is important for Manchester City.

"It is good news for Manchester City. Yaya has been in all our meetings and training sessions. You knew the situation. Nothing has changed.

"I answered about Yaya. I don't want to answer any more. You knew the situation."

Last sentence "You knew the situation" = Seluk has to apologise

Yaya was a great player for us, sadly though one that has tarnished his own legacy. Its all his own fault. Hes is not the future, so really not arsed about this apology. Too little, far too late.
History.

I wonder if Seluk is such a loose cannon? Or whether Yaya just uses him to say what he can't?

Typical rag reporters at the BBC trying to twist news reports about Yaya, to make it seem Yaya has done exactly what was asked, leading to the implication we are being unreasonable. No mention that Pep asked his agent to apologise, and he has flatly refused.

Can't see him playing for us in much capacity any more. Whether the agent says sorry or not. His ship has sailed. Doubt anyone at the club sees him in the team anymore as he is just too slow now.

Thanks Yaya for the first five years. Good luck at your next port of call sunshine

Desperate call from YAYA as he wants to be put in the shop window for January sale ! he has had numerous opportunities to protect our club from slime like his agent but probably enjoyed all the shite that was spewed on his behalf.

Sorry YAYA , your fuckign slow and unless its a dead ball situation your useless for our team now............in any case , no way on gods earth can this guy defend and we need everyone to be able to defend otherwise your not worth a fuckign squad number.

Too much water under the bridge if Yaya genuinely wanted to show contrition he would have fired his agent a long time ago. Unfortunately some of these agents are more akin to owners and he clearly has a greater hold on Yaya than the club.

A sad end to a great career for a great player, good luck in China and don't be surprised when your career is over all the money has gone missing along with your agent.

No one is bigger than the club.

It's a pity that the big man had to tarnish his reputation at the club so badly. He should have had a leash on the slug agent.

I'm glad he has apologised to the club at least. He can walk away (or come visit at some stage) with much less rancour.

A real pity cos he gave us such brilliant memories but, no cunt is bigger than the club.

Mase wrote:"Good news for Manchester City" - he's fuckin off!!

that bit's been dropped off the OS quote now

Guardiola also gave an update on Yaya Toure.

"I spoke with Yaya today, so of course it’s a private conversation, that's good news for Manchester City" he said.
"I know what happened and of course it’s so important for Manchester City and that’s the most important thing. And for Yaya who I appreciate and know him from a long time ago.
"Yaya has been in all our meetings and all our training sessions, you know the situation, nothing changed.
"I spoke with him, it’s good, that’s all. We now focus on Middlesbrough."

So that's good news as well for you Mase ;)

These agents and players live in an entirely different world to the fans. I have no sympathy for Yaya or his agent.

In fairness, he's sort of apologised, so I think we should soften our stance a bit. Let him play in all the League Cup games and if he impresses, he can play in the league
