Don't think he'll play too many games in the League Cup :?

Apologies for acting like a 'Smart Alec' Blue since 76; it was only a gentle 'leg-pull'.

However, at this stage in proceedings, I wouldn't want to see us to bringing Yaya on in any of the Premier League games, if this was at the expense of one of our youngsters being given a run out. They surely must be the ones who must take priority, with our thoughts for the future.

Moreover, I don't feel his value as an impact substitute, if we were losing for instance, is as great now as perhaps, at one time, it might have been, especially with the time he's been out of the side.

Just my own thoughts, for what they're worth.

He's still on mega money. I find it hard to feel sorry for him in these tough economic times. Like someone else said, they are in a different world. Whatever. He won't play for City again.

Well it depends whether we need him. Delph is out for a while and that leaves only Garcia and the two Ferns as our DMs. 30+ youth players out on loan remember. A couple more injuries and Yaya will be on the bench toute suite I reckon, no matter what his slug says.

Pep has brought Kola on as a defensive midfielder this season. Absolutely no way Yaya will be played there.

Yaya has been wank for the last 2 and a bit seasons so why would he be any use to us now ?

He needs to sack his clown of an agent to gain respect in the football world then move on quietly to China or USA .

Was great for us in the beginning absolutely immense but his time is done and everything about him and his agent leaves a sour taste . MCFC and pep have played a blinder !

and there's me thinking he was a crucial part of our 2014 title winning side, 49 appearances and 24 goals I believe.

this is mildly interesting

Sad way to talk of one of our greatest players.

He still knows how to open up a stubborn defence.

Yaya is in my mind right up there as one of our greats. But the club come first. Surely we all agree on that? Let's leave it and move on as Yaya is not part of Pep's masterplan. That's the future and it looks promising...

+ fantastic seasons under Mancini. Well, first half of the first season was on and off, but since then there's been no looking back.
