unbelievable. those City "fans" need lives and should be banned from the stadium.

Have to agree on completely. I don't mind away fans being in the home end, to a degree that is. My brother took his mate who is a Southampton fan the other week as there was a ticket going spare. As long as they don't start jumping around like dickheads inciting anger then fair enough.

We had a similar situation with BMG, three fans got kicked out for being absolute bellends, another two got kicked out as someone spotted their shirts but hadn't said boo to a goose, they were just there to watch the game on tickets we presumably couldn't sell!

I can see both sides of the argument

Guess that's the point though some will be disks and some would understand their surroundings. Without being able to character assess every one guess it has to be none allowed

Middle tier centres of CB and East stand are coporate seats, sold to the same level of fans of the opposition by the club every home game. They can even buy a box if they want. Seeing an away fan should not be such a shock it has been the case for years.

I was in the Stretford end at such an occasion in the standing 80s and when some city fans were being escorted round the pitch to the city end, I told a steward I was also a blue and asked if I could go with them. He wasn't a very polite man....needless to say I scurried back up the steps and mingled with the filth so he couldn't pick me out to any vermin.

I was 19 at the time and I have no idea how I kept my composure when Brightwell scored the screamer to equalise.

Watch on youtube.com

We just got tickets for anywhere in those days and you had to be very streetwise or plain daft  but that's how it was then .

Ps anyone seen the Re Tweet from bluemoon rising about the Celtic fans doing a Etihad stadium tour on the day of the CL game (I tried to put it on here but wouldn't work) ??? It is going to get nasty for sure and the tweet shows just how inept some staff are at the ticket office .

https://twitter.com/celticdaddy88/statu ... 5409387521 That's just one tweet but they are going to turn up in there thousands and get tickets for anywhere in the Etihad for the game and it seems MCFC don't give a shit ? The potential for trouble is huge and UEFA will be all over us if it kicks off .
Not really here

Fuck VAR

I do mind Especially when they start jumping around and screaming a few rows away from me when their team scores an undeserved last minute equaliser as Boro did on Saturday! Twats. Football is more tribal than any other sport and that is why we need segregation. Call me a neanderthal - I don't give a fuck. Celebrate in front of me and I'll call you out. I'm not a violent person but in situations like that my blood boils and I'm ready to go - whether I get battered or not

why does it matter? are they that insecure?

whats the problem with another fanbase celebrating?
it happens at every single sporting event I've ever been to here in the states. I've been going for over 25 years and in almost every single home match there are away fans near us because some season ticket holders sell their tickets online. most of these away fans will celebrate when their team scores and there will be banter back and forth but its all jovial. there's no reason to take it personally.

there's more important things in life.

I'd expect nothing less from a prokaryote like you. You've never been to a football match in Europe let alone England so your opinion is as welcome as a bout of gonorrhoea. Hopefully things are more civilised in Dortmund
