Great news - the Special Agent is going to see out his contract. That should see them well on the way to relegation by the middle of next season. If not this.

Don't suppose they could extend his contract? To say, ten years?

They ought to give him ten years, but in a different place altogether.

Dear Prime Minister,

I know a bloke who would make a great Home Secretary and is, in fact, far superior to the present incumbent.

If you wish to avail yourself of this man's boundless talents, just contact...........................you know it makes sense.

they are running out of options
terrible desperate move hiring Mou
if I am a top manager why would I go there it is a mess player and ownership wise

it is very easy to go from top club to wilderness in the EPL

But the really satisfying thing is that us getting Pep was probably the main reason they got moaning mo.

Manuel could be persuaded to take over and heal the holes I'm sure.

Well Maureen's comments to the press after the rags latest pantomime performance tells you all you need to know about the 'special one'. He says one team approached the game like it was the champs league final the other like it was a training session. He also said that going behind so early suggests the team isn't focused. So publicly slating his team.

None of it was José's fault. It's not down to him to motivate and ensure his team goes on to the pitch prepared properly. The rags will surely continue to implode, a 'last season Chelsea experience ' seems very much on the cards. Nevermind.....

Definitely hope that doesn't happen but I can't see him wanting to manage a team lower down the league

He'd go there in a shot. Much as we despise the rags, they are still one of the biggest clubs in Europe. They get the right manager in there and they have the potential to be as successful as they were under Bacon

They're searching for someone who can bring back former glories and a new Fergie.

They'll never find anyone.

If they'd got Pocettino or Koeman last summer, if have been concerned they'd finally got a plan. Maureen didn't concern me, as he could have brought them short term glory, but it would always end in tears. As it happens, looks like he's skipped the short term bit and just give straight to blaming the players. I'll be amazed if he lasts the season.

Bryan Robson next, please.
