Southampton have conceded once in their last seven games. This is going to be a tough fixture, make no mistake. We should win but it won't be easy and I expect a very close game

NB, Will you be satisfied with our usual, pre-match pessimistic, scrappy 1-0 ??

I know at this point in time, I would.

This will be a big game for us. I'm hoping Zaba will be fit but we may see some rotation. I'd take the scrappy 1-0 too

Southampton this season are a team that are very difficult to breakdown . If we fuck up and make the errors that have cost us in the last 4 games it could be horrible . A lot has been said about the fact we have no leaders on the pitch ? I have to agree . If we ever needed a solid performance it is this sunday ..........

fingers crossed !

Very much in evidence lately. Certainly last night we were leaderless.

Every PL game is a huge game. It's going to be as tight as a ducks hole at the top come may.

Can't wait to see the team-sheet for this one. Pep has good reason to drop one or two. Could we see a youngster in at full-back or Kompany in at centre-(half/forward). Aguero starting?

they played close to a full strength lineup today and still lost.

plus i think Bertrand is still out which is nice.

Can see Kompany starting , we badly need his leadership qualities . All the ifs and buts and this and that's surrounding our recent performances and results are frightening . Steady the ship is massively needed and a good fucking win !

As a few others have pointed out we seriously need to stop the BFs.

Not convinced playing Kompany solves this. He's prone to dropping the occasional BF too.

If Aguero is fit and ready, at home to Southampton in the PL if he is not starting that game then there is something seriously wrong.

Agreed but I am sure he will start. Best team possible for this one and I don't care what team plays against the scum.

Hes a gonner mate...gone in January.

Id play Mafeo from now onwards....its the solution imo.

Kompany still club captain isn't he ? If he doesn't play v Southampton we will have a better idea . Personally I think he can make a huge difference if fully fit .
