So we are experiencing a clear dip in form. Where do we stand now on these early days of Pep era?

Not so sure about god like genius, but he will take us places, unpredictable places for one.

I hope you are not doubting him. Brilliant manager. I have no idea what we will win this season but he is very very special.

I thought we put in a good performance today, disappointing result but "dip in form" doesn't ring true with what I saw today.

The football is still miles better than the similar dip last year. This year we can see a clear strategy and plan of what he wants to build.
I think the squad is still a bit shy of a few players that would take us there.
However I'm still loving everything he has done so far. From clearing the so called clique to dealing with Yaya and definitely improving some players and our general shape.

Genius? I'll judge that at the end of the season, but he's definitely an upgrade on what we have had before and I still have faith in the plan to bring us to world dominance. Might take longer than this season however.

Add one keeper that played out of his skin...(pens apart)

Total aberration today. I looked at stats and had like 70 something percent possession, 19!shots to their 3. Missed two pennos. 9 times out of 10 we win those. No problem, move on.

Plus Pep is just in the door. Another year and once he builds a team we will be unstoppable.

Highest average possession in the Prem by a couple of percent over Liverpool (and by more than 6 percent over Arsenal) - today was a combination of bad luck (missing two penalties) and a lack of shots on target in the first half. He has some interesting (brilliant) ideas about how to play football, and he's still learning about the English game, I'm very excited about where he will take us.

I just love how the twats that say "you won't get away with that here, this is England" keep getting proven wrong time and again.

Who says I'm doubting him? Apart from getting rid of Hart, which was ridiculous move, he has done nothing wrong for me. I like the style of play as I did watching his Barcelona and Bayern teams. Besides he is the probably the most succesfull manager of the past decade so where would we even go from there.

I just wanted to hear the general vibe.

Does anyone actually say that, Darren?

A few more tweaks and we will get better still. Unlucky yesterday in facing a goalie on his game. Coupled with the missed penalties and on another day we win. The possesion, territorial advantage, chances created, chances limited for the opposition and general play were all heavily in our favour and an indication of where we aspire to be.

Play like that each time and we win the league. No concerns from me whatsover at this stage

He will turn us into serial winners playing fantastic attacking football.

Getting rid of hart was a "ridiculous" move?

How are you so sure about that?

IS this another overreaction thread because we didn't win? players missed two pens and the players could have done better to stop lukaku. not exactly peps fault.

I think we should have a dedicated kneejerk forum.
It would be really busy, but this one would die a slow death.

Because Hart is a world class goalkeeper who grew with the club to where we are now.
