I know. But his Brum connections will be a bitter pill fir the Villa fans to swallow. Imagine if we had ever appointed a rag cast off?

Alex McLeish managed Brum for 4 years and only lasted 1 at Villa after being given nothing but abuse by the fans. Mr Potato head managed Brum for 6 years, what makes him think differently? It will be an interesting watch, however football fans are fickle and if he turns it around for them, he will be given a pass.

Still a cast-off though NB, as was Steve Coppell.

Terry cook saved our season in 98, in desperate times as is the case at villa they will forget easily if he does well.
