Worst kept 'secret' in football that Mourinho is at it. It's one of the reasons it all turned sour with him and Abramovich first time round, they wanted to reign in his transfer dealings with Mendes, and kept a very tight reign on it the 2nd time round.

Completely out in the open that he gave Mendes an office at the Real Madrid training ground and that if you weren't a Mendes player you would be frozen out to get you to sign with him. (Just read the Ravel Morrison story, seems BFS was upto the same stunts.

And of course lets not forget that Mendes trousered nearly 40% of the fee united paid for Bebe......nobody will ever every convince me that that transfer wasn't a fiddle

And you're not telling me Bacon didn't get a good drink out of it either.

Be interesting on Soccer Sunday, ( or whenever Jamie Redknapp is next on ), someone asks him, "your old man, how did he afford his gaff on Sandbanks again?"

It would seem that Carlos Queiroz (surprise surprise Mendes is his agent) is the one at the centre of that one, but even so it's still very very odd that bacon would have paid that money on a recommendation without even watching the guy.

The Veron deal at the time always seemed a bit suspect. The truth will out as they say.

Let's not forget Bacon is responsible for the Glazers at the rags with the falling out over the racehorse and stud rights. He is far from the shining light the rags light him up.

They needed to get a large sum of money into Portugal and have it drop off the radar so they could buy off Gill's only opponent when he was trying to get into UEFA. (In my opinion). The whole deal stank from beginning to end.

Bacon also refused to talk to the BBC after they started sniffing around his son working as an agent - still don't understand how Tevez played for the Rags but wasn't 3rd party owned unlike when he was at West Ham - KK too had shares in an agency whom he bought players from (win:win) - then there was Peter Reid, bloody hell there's a section on Premier Passions where the physio/dr is telling him the player they want to buy has metal in his leg (or something like that) & Reid is still desperate to sign him. Ask any Sunderland fan about Milton Nunez

I've heard similar. There was a big investigation into this deal in Portugal but obviously it seems to have come to nothing.

A friend of mine works for an accountancy firm here in Dublin, one of their clients is Mendes, they look after SOME of his books. This friend, who's a rag, worked on the Bebe deal but like I said only some of it and he too was convinced that it was a fiddle.

So, any PL managers named or have they allowed them to get their legal to tKe out super injunctions?
