It's usually at least 10% of capacity for cup games.

When we played in the semi final a few years back we had the whole second tier behind the goal.

I hope we go out with our best team, I do not want to lose to the rags, ever. I don't care if it's league cup, eds, u9's or tiddlywinks, I hope we smash the cunts.

Absolutely. I still am annoyed by the LC semi final against them a few years back.

don't want to hand them the win either, but we need to prioritize and this one is dead last for me. make no mistake - they will be out to injure our players if we give them the chance.

If that's how they come out then maybe we should injure a few of theirs. We should never shy away from a chance to put them back in their place though, even if it's at Platt Lane

I'm pulled two ways about this.

(i) We put out our strongest side to ensure we give the Scum a good thrashing

or

(ii) We put out a side with a load of youngsters in it and if they succeed in giving them a good thrashing, it will be even more mortifying for Mourinho, to be humbled by 'a bunch of kids'.

The second option has more 'risks' but I think I'm just leaning towards this plus, it would be a good experience for the EDS lads.

Hit them hard to begin with and then bring on the kids to play on the counter attack. They've got so many lumps in their team and Mourinho won't play kids against City, we'll dance around them like in the derby.

Always option one Mikhail. The rags need a damn good thrashing. Mourinho will be secretly shitting it and he will put out a weakened side, still be full of Internationals though, to get his excuses in. It won't wash as the cost and International experience of his said side will probably exceed most other PL clubs.

The record books won't be bothered about who played in the fixture, just the result. If it was any other side bar the dippers I'd say play a weakened eleven like we did v Swansea but the rags and dippers are just too loathsome to give anything other than full throttle

You make a compelling case NB.

Now I've gone back to not being able to make up my mind.....I think I'm indecisive, but I'm not sure.

My asian missus and her family are all massive Scouse fans, so we ended up going to the united/Scouse league game a couple of years back at old Trafford. We were sat in the corner of the north stand and stretford end with the rags. Scousers had the vast majority of the east stand or whatever the fuck it's called

They weren't tucked away in the corner like a league game.

We'll get a lot of tickets, and we'll be very visible on tv so I hope we make a lot of noise.

Before you have a go at me, I couldn't help it, I had to go. Otherwise I would've looked a right cunt to my in-laws.
