We seem to be a little desperate these days to off-load some 'indifferent' purchases.....trouble is, the world and his wife know it.

It's very dispiriting.

Said it before and I'll say it again. Would Roberts really have done any worse than Nolito?

Is the Nasri comment a joke mate?

Better bet than Sane ? who has shown glimpses of brilliance. Nasri is better than Nolito and Navas I get that, but an utter twat with no thought for anyone but himself. Arsenal fans have his name right.

That comment about Sane was written back in December.

Of course he would. He is English and therefore by definition not Spanish.

Yeah but would playing five games for us versus a whole season in scotland done roberts any good for his development? Thats key question here.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Nolito episode has been a strange one.

At first he appeared to be a useful addition to the squad and seemed to fit in with the way the team were then playing, in spite of his noticeable lack of pace for an out and out winger.

A little later, some of us on here wondered if he could do a job at centre forward in the injury absence of Aguero but he just seemed to mystifyingly slip out of sight and well below the radar. Most puzzling.

I know it's hindsight but, in retrospect and thinking how it all panned out, I'm with NB in thinking we probably would have been better this last season in giving Roberts a chance in the squad.

Surely he's now got to be a must with us, for the forthcoming campaign ??

When i first saw him play, he reminded me of hop-a-long Cassidy.
