I've just touched down in Florida for the next two weeks and I won't be getting up at 6:30am to go out and find somewhere open showing it.

Will just get up and check the score. Good luck boys!

In the last 18 games Cheatenburg has reffed us we've won 7. And his direct intervention (or lack of) has cost us in big games against Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and Everton off the top of my head. Not to mention he was the go-to ref that helped Liverpool 'nearly win the league'.

well at least the excuses are lined up ahead of time.

Re: derby day build up thread

It's early in the development of our new system but I think we stand a chance of turning the rags over on their own turf.
The reason for my optimism? Well we'll have Bravo starting (I hope) so it will be the first time that we've had a keeper with real distribution skills to support our system and that should improve the transit from defence into attack. Having Aguero out isn't a disaster IMO either because he's not been at his shiny best so far this season and we have such depth of talent in attacking midfielders that we can load the midfield and rotate players into the advanced position.
I think we have enough about us to give them a game and I'm looking forward with keen anticipation - happy days!
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

Don't know about Bravo starting.

He is a top keeper, but I would not send him in the first game against filth. I remember De Gay debuted with us and was a calamity in 2011 in the Shield. He is in a new country, needs a bit of time. Let him settle and play in our next home game. Big Willy can do the job in the Swamp.

Bravo absolutely must start, this man has huge experience. Willy, a nice lad and all of that, is a disaster just waiting to happen.
