Ireland were shite again tonight but we won.
4 points from two games in which we've been shite.
I suppose I shouldn't be too unhappy.

Absolutely and what cracking counter-attacking play all round.

I think Pep might have quite liked that.

Watch on youtube.com

Sagna crocked
Almost every match I watch in these qualifiers has a good young full back playing - whereas we've got 4 has beens. Txiki has got a lot to explain.

eh up Gelson's coming on for Switzerland - better option than Fernando or Delph anyway

some better news from South America though, Otamendi and Zabaleta were both booked in Peru game (2-2) and so will miss the Paraguay fixture next week, pity Kun didn't use a bit of elbow grease as well.

I think I'll bake myself some pies and some bread and then do my ironing.

I reckon I'll find that more interesting than watching Captain Shrek and his automatons bumbling about trying to look as though they're playing football.

Even with the user football savvy Southgate at the helm, this cant be one to miss ;-)

Enjoy your chores.

I'll probably watch - even if my eyeballs are likely to bleed from the sight of that rug wearing fuck doing everything possible to maintain his marketing value at the expense of the national team.

Who is that dickhead of a commentator ? "Malta find it difficult to get out from the back" as they casually cut through the England midfield with some crisp accurate passing , only for one of them to be fouled before the key pass to their striker gets made !

Sounds like a Hoddle saying. No wonder we all have a downer with international football when the fuckwits speak of an average pass with such superlatives.

So, Southgate picks Shrek as one of his strikers and then plays him in the middle? I take it we're here just to give him some confidence as he can't get a game for his team, or is it because the sponsors were not getting their monies worth.
