It sucks to be Joe hart right now.

He's gone from England's no1 and The keeper for one of the best clubs in world footy to third choice keeper with no exit in sight.

I feel for the lad. I still say he should fuck off to Spain. Pack up his butterface wife and fuck off to Spain.

Fuck England.

Cheers

All the noises coming out of the club suggest he is in line to play tonight. We can give him a good send off. Doesn't look too good on the tickets sold though. I am quite looking forward to seeing what the changed line up will be and giving Joe a few songs.

To be honest. I'm not sure we are going to be able to judge this new guy on whether he's better than Joe or not, straight away.
Unless he just can't shot stop and fucks up, but that's happened other foreign keepers starting out in this league before.
Remember how bad DeGea was in his first season.
He was young and inexperienced and I can't see Bravo being as forgiven at 33 years old though.
My point though is that, I think Bravo will be judged a success or failure as part of overall team performance when we see what honours are won or lost at the end of the season. I don't think this season is going to be as much about individuals as previous seasons. I think that is the point of what is happening here.
The team functionality is what we will judge this season on.
There will always be better individuals in certain positions in certain teams. It doesn't mean they would function better than the equivalent in Pep's team.

It's going to be fairly apparent from his first game why Pep bought him, in my opinion (unless he takes some time getting used to the new league). The stats from last season show he had almost twice as many league passes in Spain as the next best keeper (with our other purchase third on the list, by the way) while maintaining somewhere like the high 80's % for completions. He's coming to be a spare defender, and one who can pretty much start moves on his own (or at least reliably and consistently retain/regain possession as a part of his natural game).

BBC have it as £15.4m with add ons of £1.7m. Or €18m. Depends on the exchange rate i suppose.i suspect Hart will go for less
