Very well might be Hart's last match with us, read a few articles speculating it's Yaya's final time playing for city as well, but who knows. I don't think Pep has confirmed or denied the rumours...

I think this is an excuse, not a reason. To do this to Hart without even giving him a chance means that it's not just about the game.

Which it surely isn't.

I'd be surprised if he plays tonight to be honest. Pep doesn't strike me as a man who lets sentiment interfere with his focus.

That maybe so, but I suspect IF Joe is going then the club would see it as the perfect opportunity to allow the fans a goodbye and countering the negative press if the last week or so.

Better now than in a league game surely.

Whilst everything points to him going, the only thing I've read as direct quote from the manager is Joe has been given the opportunity to improve, but if he's unhappy then pep won't stand his way

It's quite interesting the Pep effect. Under normal circumstances the fans would be going ape-shit about a stalwart of City being dropped and possibly moved on but due to the current manager it's all well and good.

If Joe does go, who is our 3rd keeper?

Gunn Yes for me. I would even have him as number two as I think he would be better with the ball at his feet than Wllie. The problem for Angus is he needs experience and he isn't going to get that as a number 2 or 3. And so far he hasn't been playing under 23's because Billy O'Brien has been keeper there.

I can't believe we still have Billy with us. He has had a few loans but he won't make the first team.

Every player I've heard interviewed that has played with joe hart says he's a really nice guy.

He doesn't come across as that, but I suppose looks can be deceiving.

Not sure i care either way but if i was Joe Hart i'd tell the spafia to fcuk off , i was here when we didn't have mercenary management and i 'll be here after you have gone. Sit and bide my time till both the new goalie and Willy seriously fcuk up in the league .... and they will.

What a moment that 'stand up if you love Joe Hart' was. So emotional.
