Saints defender was very slack getting out to stop Rooney crossing it. Half hearted attempt really.
Other than that cross he's been shite.
Scum look quite boring. Very Maureen setup. They've given up a lot of possession to Southampton. If the Saints were sharper up front they could have been in front.
I'm watching it in Croatian and the commentary hasn't bothered me. ;-)
It's not very exciting but Scum will win a lot of games playing this shit.

Not worried at all about them lot. They'll win one or two games, get cocky and get exposed for what they really are.

Soft penalty. Don't think Shaw was touched.
That's game over.
Ibra scores again. Don't like them getting up s head of steam no matter how shite they are to watch.

Of course Saints have a goal disallowed before the rags go up the field and score

Exactly. Shite to watch and grinding out results are two different beasts. They have the look of a well organised outfit who won't lose many games. They already look much better than last season sadly and I reckon the title is headed to Manchester, one way or the other

They have spent some wonga but they have spent it well and spent it for now. Maureen will eventually implode but it may be a couple of seasons down the line

They're giving up a lot of chances to a team that are very poor in front of goal.
Southampton, give them their due, are trying to play football, they just don't have the quality to execute the way they are trying to play.
United have strengthened the spine of their team and I can see Ibra scoring plenty against lesser teams.
This will get them top 4 and unfortunately I agree, they will be in the mix for the title.
I think they'll pick up plenty of points off the lower half of the league.
I'm hoping we do the same.

When I managed to stay awake didn't see much from them tonight to be worried about.
What there is to worry about is the favouritism there will be for them this season.
Oh the boredom fest is over, now for the SKY Maureen sack sucking bonanza.

A better team would have scored against them tonight. I think Southampton will struggle to reach top ten this season.
What I would worry about, if I could be arsed thinking about them at all, is that they get off to a good start, which they have done. This settles their bargain signings. Lesser teams get the fear factor back when going there and then you get the cycle of home decisions gaining momentum again as the media get caught up in their love in.
I just hope we still win while we are bedding in our style, so that we are well within striking distance when Pep's style eventually comes to fruition.
If we are at the top playing the kind of football we had s sample of last Tuesday, none of the media will be able to deny us.

Wathced about 10 minutes of the game and the Rags look organised. With very expensive players you'd expect them to walkover the likes of Bournmouth and Southampton, fixtures you'd pick at the start of the season if you had a choice.
Can't say about Pogba has not seen him play that much so the jury is out with me. Beaker has always been quality so will score goals no matter what but at the same time pushes Wiggy's nose out of joint as he now takes the penalty's.
From the little I seen of them this season, Wiggy looked shit, Martial looks pushed out and the defence haven't been tested as yet. A bit like us really.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Spot on. On another day it would've been 2-2. But I get the feeling they need to lose and the sooner the better as belief and confidence can take you so far. Don't believe it? You only need to look back at last season. Plus exactly what iwt said, other clubs so easily start to be afraid going there even if they shouldn't really. At least not based on today, deffo not.

Oh, when I moved into the new digs the mover was an older Saints fan who was saying that most of them were looking at nothing more than a top 6 finish, 4th is achieveable. I told him that he needs to be sensible with losing all their players to the likes of the Rags, and Dippers, and with the manager situation they should just be hopeful to just be in the PL next season.
Seems the Saints are getting a little giddy but are being brought down to earth with an almighty crash.
We'll see.
