Let us remember, this is the Olympics, not the fucking World Cup Final.
What makes it a seeming spectacular is that you have the likes of Maynard, an internationally renowned player, but the reality is the majority of them are growing.

And he's tough as nails, as far as I have seen. He will adapt well to the league. This is no Robinho we're talking about.
To be fair to Robinho he was our top scorer in his first season and imo was class - see the goal against Arsenal. Unfortunately for him he was tasked with carrying people like Jo and Ireland (who he made look genuinely class) and if he was put in this City team it would be a different story.

well after wasting 4 hours of my life watching some truly awful olympic football, i am struggling to see anything remotely exceptional about this kid. dribbles into blind alleys, static and predictable, finishing as bad as navas. what am i missing??
