Was really impressed with what I saw yesterday. I think he should start on the bench the coming games, but I do expect him to come on and make a real impact .

Straight Into the staring lineup for me. He's already better than sterling (but then I do think he's total crap)

Our strongest front three is

Sane-- Aguero -- g.Jesus

4-3-3 is my favourite formation and this trio, in my opinion, would be perfect for the front three.

I'm trying I not get too excited...but I really liked what I saw and I was buzzing whenever he got the ball! Such a shame he was offside for the goal

Showed good attitude in the 10 minutes he was on. He showed the attributes which will make him a crowd favourite.

I think we need to be careful though and not expect too much. He should be given time and unnecessary expectation on his young shoulders may have a detrimental effect on his development.

i was encouraged. some nice touches and no deer in the headlights act. but...it was only a 10 mi cameo against a tiring defence. even navas has looked good under those circumstances.

He made a positive start against Spurs. Gutted for him that he didn't get the winner, but excited to see what he can do for us.

Furthermore, it'll give Aguero competition. For too long now Aguero has had no competition and is a guaranteed starter. This has resulted in the level of his performances notably dropping.

With Jesus now in the squad, we'll have more options and should have an improved Aguero.

Wonder whether we'll see a front three of Jesus, Iheanacho and Sterling?

With Kun and Sane on the bench

Nacho is heading out to pastures new and Aguero will join him if he doesn't pull his tripes out for us more often.

Only if Ian's attitude changes. Not remotely hungry enough on the pitch (and it's obvious).

He clearly isn't impressing Pep for starters. To not even make the squad for a cup game does not bode well for the lad. I've said on numerous occasions that I don't see him as a lone striker. I just don't think he has the all round game required for that role. I can however see him as foil to a striker, Aguero or Jesus perhaps. But the instrinsic problem with this is we don't play two strikers. The dippers have a similar conundrum with Sturridge. Talented player though he is with the goal scoring record he has, he is struggling in the system they play. As it goes, I think if Everton had the balls, him and Lukaku up front would be a great partnership.

Be a real shame if we let Iheanacho go this early though. He is still young and still learning. I'd give him at least one more year. Plus, by then if he isn't looking like he's improved then Diaz and Sancho will be knocking on the door.

One thing is for certain and that is he needs to pull his finger out in training

Ssshhhhh NB. Don't go giving them any ideas.

Seriously though, with regard to Nacho, if we played a 4-3-3 set up, I think he'd be ideal for that formation, as he does seem to have the poacher instinct which could be of benefit in a fluid system of that nature.

Given our relative lack of a keen cutting edge up front, by comparison with previous seasons, the ability/skill (or whatever you want to call it) of either lurking or being in the box when it matters, is a good attribute to have.
