Metatarsals are bad injuries. According to the BBC, Owen was out for 17 weeks and Schmeichel and Shrek were both out for 14 weeks. Apparently rest is the best cure as unless it heals properly it will go again.

Be very surprised to see him again this season IF that's the case. Gutted for him

Fitness coaches, more milk.... I found the real culprit. The lad had his socks on the wrong foot.

The BBC will paint the worst case scenario, being a rag-ridden cuntoid corporation.

Absolutely fannies today footballers.

No one had ever heard of a footballer with a metatarsal injury until Beckham broke a nail.

They really are pathetic today.

http://sportwitness.co.uk/gabriel-jesus ... g-4-weeks/

This says he was given a choice, physiotherapy which would have him back in 4 weeks, but the injury could recur, or surgery, which would put him out for 3 months, but would completely cure it.
It states Jesus opted for surgery.

Bad for us this season but the kids 19 so a wise choice long term considering the potential he has!

Shit happens but sometimes feels like we take more than our fair share of it!

In the 'old days', they would have put some freezing water from the ice bucket onto his foot, via the 'magic sponge', strapped it up, let him have a few drags on his woodbine and then sent him back onto the pitch.

You're right Mase, they're absolutely soft today, not like we were..............

Seriously though, the win at Bournemouth has turned out to be a bit of a Pyrrhic victory and a lot now rests on Sergio's shoulders.

Perhaps also time for Nacho man to step up and stop sulking too.

PS I wonder if Nolito, playing as a central striker, might be featured in more games from now on ??
