I'm happy if Stones comes,cant see the problem.

I don't personally either but if he comes and doesn't improve from where he's been this last season I can only see it being our fault again for "breaking another England player" ala Sterling!

We know from the stats that Raheem hasn't been drastically any worse or better than he was at dippers despite the death threats and unbelievable media bollox.

Sadly, if he does join I can see OD's thread going into overdrive regardless of how well he performs if he came.

Maybe the fact Tosin has played a lot of pre season minutes and not looked out of place has given Pep something to think about. Previously, if we really really wanted a player we would pay the asking price. The way this transfer is shaping with us not seeming to want to go over £40m, maybe Pep feels Tosin in a year or so could be as good and he will make do with what he already has at his disposal until then. Yes that's true there could be sales/loans. The way pep is talking tosin up and balancing with "he still has lots to learn" suggests he will be involved with first team squad and get his chance at some point. As for stones, it's still on the table at this stage so I think a deal will be agreed eventually.

Twitter says Stones apparently signed before midnight last night, which means he is eligible to play against Bucharest.

Vinny must be a long way from playing and clearly Eli and Nasri are gone.

As was said earlier in the thread this is just the squad for the play off games. Since Mangala is fit we can safely say he's either being sold or loaned. Vinny is injured and can be included in the squad for the CL proper. I can't believe this is a UEFA error and the Club would not have been allowed to put him on the list unless he had been registered as a City player before midnight. I can only assume the Club were looking to avoid the Pogba wonkiest and will announce the transfer in the coming hours. Strange one.
