Why? It's the same thing as a striker intercepting a back pass to the keeper
Because that's exactly what it isn't the same as. A back pass is deliberate, that just luckily came off his 50p head and fell to the player. If an attacker plays the ball forward and it skims the defender, then that's given as offside, I see this as more similar to that scenario than a deliberate back pass.
Intention has nothing to do with it. And it didn't skim off his head, the ball completely changed direction. Just like if a defender meant to clear the ball, but sliced it sideways to the striker. All pretty straight forward
Yeah ok, good analogy.

In the U.S.? Ian Darke and Steve McMannaman.

I don't think that's ever been the case.

Bale to score and Wales to win (at least that is what I've bet on!).

Darke is a tabloid level rag lover and mcmananan is a miserable fucker who shits on everything.
I can't stand commentators who always have point out how "bad the defending was" rather than giving credit for scoring a good goal

Vardy is a gamble, he's a bit off the wall. But I can see no earthly reason to start Kane and not Sturridge

This is what holds us back as a club - having a keeper who simply doesn't have the skills to play at the level we need.
Joe 'flapper' Hart; nice guy / one of the lads / a true blue / a club legend / everyone's favourite bloke / great short range stopper / excellent reaction saves / can't distribute / can't catch a ball / terrible positioning / shite with the ball at his feet / never commands his box / doesn't organise his defence / not good enough for us / only employed because he's English / would take a hike if he had any desire to see us have a truly great keeper / holding us back / be honest / get rid and move on.
