We'll see if the Shrek Effect has the negative impact it had last match.

Who is playing?

someone who isnt good enough to play up front anymore but is now given a midfield role just because he is captain, plays for the scum and is more likely to get an 8 year old boy to spend his birthday money on an england lampshade than mark noble.

Survey says...

Ding!!

Also, Wilshere and Vardy on the bench, with Lallana starting as well.

What the fuck were the officials doing there?

Half expected them to throw up gang signs afterwards.

It's the ex-Rag Drinkwater who I have a little sympathy for. Instead, he gets overlooked for the likes of Wiggy and Henderson who couldn't even guide their clubs to an expectation levek., ie. Champs League football.

These players aren't in it because of their game, it's simply about the club.

Exactly. But I have to say, since the 2006 world cup when Erikkson fudged the squad selection It just doesnt hurt anymore when england fall short, because no matter how many times the lessons are dished out, english football doesnt learn from them. In a way beefy its a waste of time me saying rooney shouldnt play, because the minute he was made captain he got a free pass. Tap ins v san marino and kazakhstan should not give you another years grace. In the two other main team sports here, cricket and rugby, if the captain is no longer good enough to keep other players out and justify his own selection, he goes, he either resigns to make way or is dropped, and in both those sports Id say the captain is more integral in teamplay than a football captain...certainly cricket.

It's a shorter list if we list the pundits who aren't.

Wiggy is already leaving s huge gap in midfield as the others think he's got it but has then disappeared.

Our Raheem has had a few good touches, he looks confident out there.

Gotta give to Shrek there. Impressive ball, and then Kane a bit hopeful there.

Well he did just come deep to give the ball away, so take it away from him again.

Really quite impressive that Alli was playing at MK Dons 2 seasons ago and now hes starting for England at the Euros
(Thought the same thing about Kante and France)

I think it's impressive anyone with a name so similar to Ali Dia is allowed anywhere near football.

Alli not following in there, I'm sure if Vardy was on instead of Wiggy he'd have had that.

Good football being played while dominating possession. Final pass and finishing not up to that standard just yet.

All the decent chances falling to Lalaland.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.
