Interesting bit of trivia for you:

Paul Dickov is the only player to have played for four of the (post-1993) six Premier League-winning clubs, but to have never won the Premier League himself.

If anyone on here organizes a pub quiz, that's one of your questions sorted for next week.

I think the idea is to ask "which player ..." not what clubs Dickov played for that have won the league.

Has also played for Leeds. I know they haven't won the PL but that's five title winning teams he had played for. Must be a record of all time as well, certainly in England if not Europe

Surely the answer to that would have to be (as it is for many football trivia questions) John Burridge?
Villa
Derby
Wolves
Sheffield United
Newcastle
City

And in Scotland:
Dumbarton
Aberdeen
Hibernian

That's 9 clubs in total that he's played for who have won top-flight titles at some point in their history.

When he is interviewed as a semi-pundit, he is one of the most pro-City people out there. Which is what I thought this thread would be about.

Take note BT - bin those goons and take on Dickov.

Sure I've read somewhere he and his lad(s) have got season tickets. Always been a decent pundit whenever I've seen him as well.

This has been a great quiz question at work - loads of players being suggested (Anelka, Savage, Bellamy), but none who've played for 4 winners without winning it themselves. Had to check he'd played for Arsenal in the PL, but he had 1 sub appearance

At some point, I'll have to put them out of their misery

Yeah, we had one today. 5 British players to win two CL medals.
