Done, Sundeland just announced it on Twitter.

Good that it's Premiership football, but can't see him developing under Moyes. Not the way City want to play anyway.

Hope they have paid a loan fee and have an option to buy

Nobody wants our players on a permanent deal mate. Even when they're free we struggle to offload.

I was reading that Pep didn't want him to go actually, so this is an interesting development.

Sounds like he wanted to play and we blocked a move back to Turkey. We have 4 more years with his contract, so he could come back next season if he does well this.

At least he will get Premier League football so we can see what he is really made of.

Incentive to watch Sunderland now, who otherwise have been dire.

Not seen hide nor hair of 'Arry this evening. Looks like Sky have even given up on the old cunt.

Bet he's crying in his big house that he's not involved in football management these days with all this money floating around. He could have had a bigger house!

He flew to Istanbul last night in the hope of signing for Galatasaray on loan again, sounds like he may be disaffected.

At least we will be able to have a real good look at him now. He will have plenty of defending to do there. We will see how good he really is.

Lol at Jim White on the deadline day show. Apologises to Evertonians for bringing them bad news that they had been snubbed by Sissoko to go to Spursand says he brings them good news. All Everton fans watching are rubbing their hands together, maybe in anticipation of a 'Robinho' moment, then he drops in "Everton have signed Enner Valencia" and if that wasn't enough they have an obligation to buy for £14.5m.

Slit your wrists time

You won't be surprised to hear they are raving about the window the rags have had. "Gold dust" apparently.

It seems to be a point of honour for Spuds to do a deal in the last hour of the window every season. Poor planning if you ask me.

Oh and the Luiz deal has just gone through in time according to Sky.

I remember not knowing whether to laugh or cry when some journo came up with the immortal line, "If anyone can get the best out of Ballotelli, it's young Brendan".

Think they dodged a bullet. And Spuds just bought a lifelong arse fan:

"Everyone knows, I often said it when I was young, Arsenal is the club of my heart, because there were quite a few French players there like Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, Sylvain Wiltord, Patrick Vieira who was my idol…

The beautiful Arsenal."

From only a few months ago. And almost every Newcastle fan seems glad to have him gone.

Though still not as bad as West Brom signing Robson Kanu

In fairness, some of those players are not being loaned out with much intention to retain their services when their loan is finished.

I can say they love him at Huddersfield, he's hit the ground running in the Championship. I've not seen him play myself though, but they use him in a creative 'number 10' role as far as I can tell (they were using a 4/2/3/1 in preseason).
Thinking about it, I'm fairly sure Town will try and sign him permanently at the end of the season, so it might give an idea of what City thinks of him depending on whether we let him go or not (if they do try and sign him).
