As with all stats, there may be more than meets the eye. If he missed a whole season with a ligament injury 3 or 4 years ago, then there's little to worry about. If he only plays 15-25 games every single season, that's a real issue.

EDIT: Just checked Wikipedia and he only managed one league appearance 3 seasons ago. 73 games in all competitions over the last two years (48 in the league) sounds nowhere near as bad. 40 in all competitions this season just gone.

Fairly sure that somewhere in this thread someone's also said he had a back injury that was bad at the time but fully recovered from?

Yep. And I don't think he's had a reoccurrence of it since.

This is a bargain price for a player of his qualities. Hard to complain about this signing if we have enough depth.

105 appearances in 5 years at Dortmund. Stupidity beyond belief is plenty to complain about.

157 appearances in 5 years or if we take out the year when he had back surgery it's 154 appearances in 4 years or 38 appearances a season.

It seems this lad has had a lot of injuries. Find that concerning.

The MEN reported yesterday that he made 105 appearances in 5 years. Maybe they mean league appearances or maybe they mean starts. They are not specific. He did miss 14 months completely and now has a dislocated knee. Kieran Dyer anybody?

Just checked there, that's league appearances. It's not like the MUEN to be putting a negative slant on City related news is it?

City want Gundogan, Madrid want whatshisname? and Bayern want Reus. I'd say the chances of at least two of the three being sold are fairly high. Oh and then there's Weigl too, he's attracting a lot of interest.

Im certain Gundogan will leave.

You said it, if you had been more specific in the first place I wouldn't be assuming that your "clarification" was just back tracking.

He left this bit out;

Just caught wind of this here...
About striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang "I think he wants to move to England,” Cousin told the BBC. “The Premier League is a different style to Germany; it’s more physical and, for me, it’s a good moment for Pierre to move to a big club like Man United or Man City.

Hmmm... just going to leave this here. Was it Real, Liverpool & the rags trying for Reus as well? We'll see what happens.

Aww, youre so aborable. Fucking stupid but adorable nonetheless.

How about finding a quote thats not from someone who knows jack shit and, instead, find one from the guy who decides if Aubameyang is leaving? Its from 1 day ago. Im sure your grade school level investigative skills can find it.

Ill wait.

I'm sorry was I talking to you, or replying directly to you?
Or was I replying to the poster who brought my quote into this?
Did I say "This is happening" or did I say "Just heard this" and "we'll see"?
Gotta love being called stupid in the opening line as well...

That is not good. Sounds not to dissimilar to stats for Delph. Fingers crossed he doesn't go the same way as he does appear to be decent when he plays

Poor logic. He had a back injury that left him out for an entire season, so that is going to make it look worse. He played regularly this entire season, and was not hurt seriously again until the dislocated kneecap with has what exactly to do with a back injury, which was the major one that caused the missed games.

According to some Twitter rumours he has already signed a contract filmed the interview with city tv and if just the announcement that's the missing piece of the puzzle.
