Hope you're right.......have you seen much of us lately..... John O 'Shea our most experienced defender?????

Take a look at our selected defenders and let me know how many names you recognise...
I even wish Jonas Olsson from WBA would have been picked, but he's fallen out of favour for some reason.

Love this.

tighten shit up with Rooney in midfield if you have to play the tit. Loadsa fucks behind the ball. Get some fast cunts. Run like fuck. Smash it long (tho to whom i have no idea since the fuck didn't include Andy Carroll)....when required and just fucking put themselves about.

This is England.

Stop hiding. And don't be embarrassed about it. Who fucking cares about style in INTL footy? They're a bunch of fucking strangers playing at a shite level that most of us laugh at in terms of tactics and approach, so who gives a shit how pretty it is? The USA is laughable stylistically. A complete joke. But fans don't care about that if they win. Or at least make a match of it.

cheers

Sure won them all those trophies before, so you're saying why not keep the tradition going then? Good call.

I think people are overreacting to the performance, one in which they did score two good goals. There were inconsistencies, and some errors, the conceded goal of which was by none other than Joe Hart, who has zip to do with the arguments for going "old school," although did have one or two other good saves as well, to be fair.

In the win against Germany in March, they had Welbeck fit to play out wide. This time around, due to injury, Hodgson put Vardy out wide where he is less effective, although he still made an impact. I think what this performance may show is, as I heard elsewhere, that with Welbeck out and Rooney starting to show effectiveness as a no. 10, that Hodgson perhaps may go with a 442 (Diamond) instead of 433 with Vardy & Kane up front, Rooney in the no. 10 and then Wilshere, Alli and Dier/Drinkwater, and whoever they play as a back 4, to use Rose and Walker or Clyne to provide the width.

Sterling is probably the odd man out despite doing well to dribble into the middle to start activity for the first goal, but he was not his best the rest of the match. I think he will be left out as a starter, and my guess is he would have to play as a backup no. 10 or striker, yet there is Barkley and Sturridge, who both might be ahead of him there.

Funny enough, there is one name no one is saying when they speak about the potential winners of the trophy: italy.

This what they usually love, when no one is talking about them as potential winners, they manage to go really high in the competition. It might be the case this year also. If the pass the group stage, I think we might see something from them, even if this squad is the weakest I saw from them.

Plus, Conte omitted Mario and Pirlo, players that they like it or not, can make the difference.

Italy would be a bit of a risk if you were a betting man, but they could make the quarterfinals, sure.

I'm gonna go the easy route. France has too much talent now and are at home.

The winner will come from Spain, France, Germany or Italy? It always does. Probably be France as they are at home and the stage is set for Griezmann to shine.

As usual England won't trouble the trophy engravers

Italy won it once. 48 years ago. When it was hosted in Italy. That is exactly the same pedigree as England will have going into the World Cup in 2 years' time.

losing Verratti is a huge blow to Italy's chances. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't make it out of their group (i dont even remember who's in it)

He's just another yes man for the FA, picking quotas from certain teams so their mugs of a fan base buy England merchandise.

Exactly why he should just fuck it off and play kick and rush. Stop pretending.

It worked against my sons u-10 team this weekend. They passes their opponent off the pitch but they blasted some shots in from near midfield and their goalie just hoofed it like a fat little toad and they won 4-3. Being "better" doesn't often mean jack shit in life.

Just be England. And English. Fuck Europe. And fucking the beautiful game and smash some cunts and score a couple.

Why do you fucks always want to deny who you are? Your manager is an extra from the fucking Dark Crystal and you're talking like you're playing chess with Kasparov.

Freaks.

Cheers
