Really hope the French CB's get injured in training and the Mang gets put in and scores the winner in the final

I think he's been brilliant all tournament. An absolute rock whose praise I'd usually saved for 'arrrre Zabs'.
That wee bloke as well,i like him, I like him lot. Him and Sergio would get on well ;-)

John, as moderator or whatever your promotion is, I would think you should be on top of that.
Griezmann is a top notch player and had been for two years now. Would take him over Silva in a heartbeat

I would agree. More in the Agüero bracket IMO, but of more use to the team further down the pitch as well.

It kind of fizzled out, but I thought the earlier stages were very good from an underdog perspective.
I enjoyed us against Italy and partly against France although we were outclassed second half.
I thought the fact all the home nations got out of the groups added to it.
Iceland and Wales were probably the best stories of the tournament.
Admittedly watching the antics of Tranny at the end of the final left a sour taste in the mouth.
Overall, I probablly agree with you NB. I'm glad it's over and we can get on with the annual Transfer season panic/frenzy.

I think in any tournament situation you will get some great games with some great goals and some stand out players with an underdog or two progressing further than they thought possible. All of the above happened in Euro16 but as a whole, I was left underwhelmed. Mostly it has to be said from nations who I thought would play better football. Belgium, Spain, Croatia, England, Portugal (even though they won the thing they hardly set the place alight with scintillating football) spring immediately to mind.
Perhaps the subdued tournaments of late is what is turning me off international football, together with sad state of affairs that is England and their squad selection

Luckily for belgium the squad is still young, for they've lost time under him.
