Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

There apparently have been a few rule changes made for next season by the IFAB. It's on the sky sports homepage if anyone can do links. I'm a dinosaur and struggle with technology at the best of times, doing it from a phone is beyond me.
There are then a few managers and pundits putting forward their suggestions for rule changes. There are some decent suggestions out there.
I'd like to see
Players who bad mouth the referee receive an instant yellow. I just hate to see it.
Teams whose players surround and berate the referee docked a point. Again, there is no need for it and the officials in the main deserve respect.
A bonus point for scoring five goals in a game. Would encourage more attacking play and games wouldn't just fizzle out
Four points for an away win by three goals. Again encourage attacking play
Retrospective action to be able to be taken when the referee has seen the incident. Yellows could then be turned into reds and vice versa.
22 in the match day squad. This would give managers greater scope. Or alternatively, the current 18 but allow four EDS subs to be named as well and if this is to be the case, allow an extra sub or two from there to give youngsters a better chance of game time.
Playoffs to be revamped in the style of super league. 3rd place to go straight to Wembley. 7th then plays 6th at 6th. The winner then plays 5th at 5th. The winner then plays 4th at 4th. The winner then meets 3rd at Wembley.
Under 21 sides to play in the Cup that leagues 1/2 contest. Johnstones paint trophy?
Any one got any other ideas

Ah so these are just your ideas I thought they were a straight lift from Sky. Some great thoughts there but I think too radical for the dinosaurs that make the decisions. Look how long it took to introduce goal line technology. Straight one match ban for "Simulation" punishment meted out retrospectively after an independent panel view video.

I never wanted video help for the refs but after this season I want that introduced.
League cup semi to be just one leg (not at Wembley).
Restrict the number of TVs pundits to one ( per club) for each broadcaster I.e. Redknapp, Fowler, Thompson, Carragher, Owen, McPointy, Murphy, Lawrenson etc is too many ex dippers to report fairly. Let's have a Baggies, Toon, Hammers, Stoke, Palace etc pundit to give s fairer representation.

To be fair, a bit of what I've put down is very similar to some of the proposals in the article.
I'm torn with simulation as I think it's very difficult to prove in most cases. I hate it but sometimes when a player is running full pelt and is slightly off balance due to twisting and turning a little and he gets a little clip, then he could go down due to balance even though there is not enough contact for a penalty. I agree in obvious cases where there is no contact.

Yeah I know what you mean but there are some that are nowhere near borderline decisions it's those that I'm talking about. It's all about the player's mentality. He knows that he's going to throw himself on the floor in an attempt to gain an advantage. If he gets a one match ban for it I think he will think twice, thus making the ones you're talking about easier to judge

But if a player punches a ref in the face after a shit decision their team get an extra goal.

The FA and/or Premier League to subsidise the current high cost of coaches getting their qualifications (compared to other countries such as Spain) inorder to invest some of their fat profits into actually improving the game and the quality of English youngsters by having a bigger coaching pool to choose from.
VIVA EL CITIES
"The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee ... has banned Mr Joseph S. Blatter ... for eight years and Mr Michel Platini ... for eight years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately." - 21/12/2015

I wish they would sort out the inconsistency over the wrestling that goes on in the goalmouth at every set piece. Either say it's ok, or do something about it.

The Liverpool pundits must have regular contact, to be pedalling the same misleading B.S
Anytime they have to mention any defeat ie: Capitol 1 to us or in a few months the Arse kicking they got bepy Seville the word unlucky will dominate. If Sterling had taken his chance or Seville converted both games could have been 6-1, the Scousers dilute the truth en masse. Hence dilluded fans, even Klopp just after being battered will start the diversion.

Refs who make clear, goal-costing/game-changing mistakes to demoted at least two divisions for not less than two months.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Martin Skrtel and Chris Appalling would be fucked if they did something about it.

An extra sub allowed for games that go into extra time. You're allowed 3 subs for 90 minutes, why not one more for the extra 30 minutes?

I would most definitely like to see this, however the only problem is that after about 8-10 games in to the season we'd be having our games ref'd by non league referees. The amount of game changing decisions across the whole premiership is that rife

If you fake to be injured/dive, the other teams manager is allowed to strike you in the area where you claimed to be hurt.
And if two goals are scored within the same minute: Multiball

I'd like to see up to 4 subs in any game.
Would allow for greater tactical flexibility on game by game basis. Would see more of the squad getting game time thereby potentially reducing fatigue over the season.

Make the goals bigger
Reduce teams to 9 a side
Fly goalie
Rolling subs
Sin bins
Orange cards
Specialist kickers for dangerous free kicks
2 goalies for a penalty
Bonus point for 5 or more goals

Make the match 80 minutes long, split into eight 10 minute sections, each section having a 3 minute break to allow people to go home early to miss the traffic and not get in other people's line of vision.
In fact, sell tickets for each of the ten minute sections so people can choose in advance which part of the game to pay to watch. Give a discount to people daft enough to pay to watch the whole game.
