I wouldn't go so far as to say equally but there's definitely room for improvement in terms of getting him to do it consistently.

100 %
wont take the newcastle brace out of the summary, tho.

Also,I know I somewhat too much romantic to fit in the finance driven world, but It's so painfull to watch him ending on strolling his once powerfull legs about the pitch. Such a shame footballers cant fat their pension funds through conferencing.

all the best Yaya monster, Im so glad I had the opportunity to chant Your/Kolo's name at the Townley.

You forget how good he was! Real decline over the past year or so.

Probably the best all round player we have seen. Monster.

The thing is you don't forget how good he was - its the fact that you remember how good he was that makes most of his performances this season and last so frustrating. All the stuff with his agent was ridiculous too but the unstoppable surges through midfield, the free kicks and some of the passes he played made the side show almost irrelevant.

We can say we saw his best years at City and be grateful for that but he will not make that sort of contribution over the course of a season again. If Yaya has not already decided to move on then Pep will decide if there is a role for him in the squad but I think we all know he is going.

We would have won fuck all without him (ok maybe a single cup).

Crazy. Even for CAPS LOCK CARL standards thats absolutely mental. If you can watch the entire 43 minute video above (as your memory seems to be drowned in boozy anger) and still think Yaya had more shit games than good games.... there's not much else to say as I'd be talking to a brain-dead mong

And CARL, you're 10x the cunt that Yaya's agent will every be. But for you that's probably a term of endearment.

Lets change it to the last 2 years then -HES BEEN UTTER WANK FOR 2 YEARS and I wanted him sold last season for being a LAZY HALF ARSED cunt who cost us more times than not being in the team. (Pics will probably self combust on reading this...but we all saw what he dished up , theres no sweeping it under the carpet because he was immense a few years ago.)

I am nowhere near as much of a cunt as that cunt of a cunting agent is.......FYI.

One of the best all round players the world's seen in the last decade. Between 2010 and 2014 he was immense. And it always felt like he would score if he got the chance, if just for a micro-second.

One year of shit maybe, but he was more good than bad last year overall. And even in that shit he's still produced goals that almost no one else is even capable of:

https://streamable.com/fpoe

I'd gladly accept 1-2 years of decline from all our players if we get 3-4 years of what he delivered.

Having Yaya at his prime made other teams shit their pants before the game even started. How were you supposed to defend someone who is bigger, stronger, faster, and more skillful than you... not to mention a rocket shot, pinpoint passing, and a good footballing brain? People would try to foul him but just bounce off. If we needed a goal, here comes Yaya with a 50 yard run, 40 yard pass to Sergio, or 30 yard rocket in the upper corner.

When watching the tunnel cam, I've never seen any player as universally respected by fellow professionals as Yaya and for good reason.

Finally, his heart is 2x the size of a normal human (actual fact). He's a freak of nature.

difficult to argue with BB.

as I said, just a shame that footballers can't fat their pension funds through conferencing, likewise past politicians and intellectuals of varied species.
