Now I understand why Milner left. Even kolarov was ahead of him in the pecking order for centre midfield

What a turn around. Pep is just magic to get a turn around of this magnitude.

It's just astonishing. Most thought he wouldn't even be here. Credit to both of them.

A new player, not long ago we doubted him even to be a footballer.
Nice to see Pep give the players his love, kissing a sweaty Raheem on his forehead. Thats what you should have done Pellers!

nottsblue wrote:Shocking "performance" today. I voted him worst of the bunch, primarily for the reason of apathy. The fucking barest minimum I expect, no, demand, of a player is effort and application for 90 minutes. He hid today and not for the first time.

Thankfully, Pep also appears to have exacting standards regarding effort so hopefully the shithouse performances shown today, not just by Kolarov though he was the worst culprit IMO, will hopefully become obsolete.

I shall also eat a slice of the humble pie Sister of Fu has ordered.

Pep has made a difference though as predicted, though I would never have thought in a thousand years Kolarov would have been one of the main beneficiaries. Well done to all concerned

I think it's worth noting that all his mates have pissed off out of the club, and they were some of the biggest sulkers going. Probably didn't help him by hanging around with a bunch of players with such massive chips on their shoulders.

It's quite simple really.

All it took to transform AK was a managerial genius from the Iberian peninsula.

Nothing more than that.

Agree entirely with both these statements at the times you made them. It's just unbelievable what a difference we're seeing. Fair play to him.

Just have to agree with everyone. Stunning to see the change. He plays with total determination , energy and even intelligence. Sterling said pre match that Pep doesn't just work with one or two players but with all the players individually.

An unbelievable transformation

Pep would seem to work himself hard, as well as the players.

Perhaps that's why he felt he needed to take that year-long sabbatical.
