Yaya is incapable of that role and we do lack a few players who can do that job. Against Leicester we could of salvaged something if we had been given the penalty in the first half (the foul on Zaba which was in the box not outside). West Ham second goal wasn't a corner (although we didn't deal with) and because of that we were up against it. The home game against Spurs they were gifted a penalty.

The loss of Kompany is significant but that's why we spent £70m on Otter and Mangala during MPs reign. There is no excuse. Kompany won't be playing forever. It's s bit like saying we would have a much better chance if only Colin Bell could get fit. If we are talking luck, then how lucky were we to take 6 points off Norwich and Swansea at home.

If, if, if. One of the papers published the meaningless table where they review all the dodgy decisions and assume all penalties will be scored, that a goal just changes the result rather than how the two teams play the rest of the game etc and we ended up about 7th.

Good teams get annoyed about bad decisions and do something about it. We behave like a teenage girl who's just been dumped

There are mentality issues amongst our current lot but luck plays a huge part in winning the league and we have our fair share of bad luck.

Kompany is our captain and main leader has been under two managers and in his frequent absence I am not surprised we have lost the games we had done along with the decisions that have gone against us. The players you have mentioned weren't bought for their leadership qualities and will have a chance next season to prove they are worthy of a side matching our club's ambition. The games you have mentioned didn't involve fortuitous refereeing decisions just bad performances where we have turned it around to get the wins ( admittedly only the few times we had done during the league campaign).

We've dropped a bollock putting too much focus on CL this year in my opinion.

That is a trend for all teams in the CL over last few seasons.
They struggle in PL matches before and after CL games.

Then throw in that our players looked like they did not give a toss about the PL this year and you get 10 PL defeats.
