not really surprised. but can easily see this team being stifled and not scoring.

I suppose it's understandable. I was hoping Navas would start on the right and Nasri on the left instead of sterling, but Wednesday seems to be priority.

Referee is Andre Marriner (unless they change it again last week!!)

Sterling being given game time I assume as Samir not in CL squad?

only worry is Fernandinho getting too many minutes today. My prediction: 3-0 City with Nacho, Bony, and Delph scoring

Come on City!!!

That must be the thinking. Just not sure that line up can retain possession well enough to get something out of this. Our bench is strong though

The best we could hope for really. Maybe Bony will surprise us all away from the expectations of the Etihad?

Bit worried about fern starting as we need him 100% for wed.

I can see him swapping with Fern 2 at half time

I know that he's only being rested but I'm glad Serg is on the bench after Tuesday nights no show.

I think KdB and Kompany are being rested altogether. Aguero on the bench. Can Bony and Kelechi get something going together?

He's doing exactly right in using what's left of the senior squad.

Step up Wilf

Hoping the formation is wrong. I'd have Sterling and Ian wide with Nasri as #10, Delph and Fernandinho mainly sitting to cover the fullbacks

Kolarov's playing so I think we'll be okay.
