Don't know what Joe did wrong today.

Kolarov bottom of the barrel for a shocking lack of effort that would get you smacked by your teammates in a Sunday league game

Seriously. Sterling was not good, but Kolarov by a good margin, and cost us goals that are not even excusable unless he's hurt.

Fernandinho and Nacho were the ones who can claim any credit after that performance.

Don't agree. Kolorov was the biggest cunt, because he wasn't trying, but he still played better than Stirling, who was total dross.

What did he say?

That we lacked backbone, cohesion, unity, fire in the belly and it stems from the apathy the manager brings in his team selection and tactics and substitutions during the game?

And that we were dry bummed harshly over the Sterling, Bony and Otter transfers?

Delph - Not good enough by a mile
Nasri - Another of his pussy displays
Sterling - What can you say, apart from shite.
Bony - See Delph
Nacho - Superb, didn't deserve to have to play with the others.

Agree with most of this.
BUT
Thought Mangala worked his socks off, especially in the second half
Kolorov = bad
Zabba = terribly sad seeing him so slow now. Reminds me of Colin Bell after his return from Buchan's crunch. We all wanted it to happen... but it didn't
Fern = Got a feeling he was trying to avoid an injury before Wednesday
Delph = Poor
Nasri = Skill in spades. Not much courage
Sterling = See STEVE DALEY
Bony = See BENJANI
Nacho = The one bright star in the City Firmament today. Needs nurturing.

A disappointing afternoon but not entirely unexpected with Madrid on Wednesday. I have had worse days in the past sixty years!!

I agree Mangala put the work in, it just seemed he wasn't using his head (not literally).

How 90% of that team can hope for a game under Pep baffles me not one of them is a Pep style player.Also they showed today they have no respect for the shirt they wear.

Shadow team today.
Result is not a surprise.
Missing Kompany, Brown, YaYa, Kun, Navas, Silva and 1st choice full backs.
That's 8 first choices.
That left the other first choices with to much to do(Joe, Fern,Nacho) because the
The rest are either to old(Zaba), not good enough(Bony) or don't care(Kolorov).

I felt a bit sorry for Mangala in this match as he didn't know whether to play CB or LB as he spent so much time trying to cover for Kolarov.
