Does anyone use this? A few of us are thinking of putting in for a pass. It's £175 for the season. We pay £7 a game now for one on Bradford Road.
Is it a complete nightmare to get off? Can you use different cars or does the pass have a reg on it?

There is a new huge public car park in the regenerated Grey Mare Lane in between the Police station and the Academy School , its free and access in and out is good . Etihad is just a 5 minute walk .

I had one a few seasons back, it certainly didn't have a reg number on it, I used at least two different cars in there.
As for getting in and out, not a lot different from anywhere else on match day TBH,, a nightmare.
I always park down by Ashburys, a fiver and a 15 minute walk.

Never knew that, and I walk up Grey Mare everytime I drive.

Absolute nightmare getting off the one at the City Store side where there are three car parks next to each other. I wouldn't recommend it at all! We used to be waiting anywhere up to an hour after the match to get off.
Plus it went from £90 a season to a price similar to what you've quoted.
I'd rather just park on the street of the vermillion for free and walk the 5 minutes.

I park there as it's about as far as my mum could walk, but getting out is a nightmare. Impossible to get out of before they turn the lights off and gridlock it unless you leave early, but 20 - 30 minutes after final whistle and you're fine. Watch the highlights on the screens on the way out and it's not too bad.

This is the key. We park at the Velodrome and stroll out last, grab some unhealthy fast food and by that time you can just drive out.
But don't tell all the buggers who leave early, they'll ruin it if they stay later

If you are ever in a need to make a quick exit. Then you have no chance. If you want to hang around so for 40 minutes and have a chat in City square then it's OK. Problem is the weather more often than not makes people want to get home asap. I don't seem to remember many nice t-shirt days this season. Weather has been shit and we have 1 home game left.

That's it, it's not the car park that's the problem, it's the lack of a roof and heaters on City Square!
When it's been really bad, we've had a warm up in the shop whilst the traffic disappears

And don't dare stay in your seat for 5 minutes after the final whistle because the stewards 'want to get home' and will have a cry about it....wankers!

Sometimes it takes me 10 minutes to hit the road and sometimes a year, like last game.
I dont mind walking a bit, but I am an Arab pussy who cant take the cold, so I will stick to the car park.
