He is not as deep lying as Yaya could be. KDBs best work is in the final third. He doesn't influene games in midfield the way Yaya used to. In that final third though, he is a superstar in the making. I would see KDB as the replacement of Silva myself

Even though he's spent the majority of his career in deeper roles, Yaya's best days with us were as a #10 playing off a lone Tevez, Aguero or Dzeko under (for the most part) Mancini.

KDB's performance at Chelsea was highly reminiscent of that Yaya of old. Look at the breakaway for the second goal.

KdB is absolutely nothing like Yaya at his best.

Bony is not a certainty to go at all. Who is gonna pay the fee and pick up those wages?

We need better than Nasri. Failed on too many big occasions. The sideways king.

Only KDB and Fernandinho are safe according to our pollsters! Though it's highly unlikely Silva or Aguero or Sterling or one or two others will leave, you never know. Ronaldinho who was arguably one of the top three players in the world at the time was sold which caused initial shock waves. If we got a daft offer for Kun or KDB for that matter we may cash in depending on who we could get in to replace them. Be surprised, but football can be a funny old game

And that is badly needed - everybody to be very uncertain - to know that if they are not delivering they are out.
Then we will not have to put up with the PL 'performances' we witnessed this season.

This poll is fixed, it'll only let me vote once for Hart.

It is interesting to see the results of the poll but I feel the long and continuing speculation over player's future has been very damaging for our end of season. I fear we will be playing Thursday night in the Europa league with Pep, the way this season is going.

My list:

Willy - If we are using a foreign place it could be better utilised, and we can do better with someone to challenge Hart.
Wright - Only on the list to be a homegrown player really, and we can find someone else I'd think to help fill that need next season
MDM - No explanation necessary. Thankful for the first two seasons he played above expecations for the most part (except the early part of last season)
Kolarov - We need fullbacks with pace or can defend. Has qualities, but when team's focus their attack on your side that's not a good sign. He's also 30.
Zaba - Chosen with a heavy heart, but age is showing, and Sanga (older) leaves us less vulnerable. We need more youth at fullback and someone has to go.
Yaya - Plenty has been said that tell the story the past two seasons. A legend, and whose talents will be nearly impossible to replace.
Zuculini - Is he on the squad list anymore? I don't see him on now. Unfortunate that I recall him hailed as a top prospect when we signed him. Not worth it.
Bony - Was hopeful even when he struggled to find the back of the net, but his confidence shot, and seems out of place. Will help another team.

Those I didn't vote for who some others may have:

Clichy - Is HG so is not going anywhere with our lack of options currently. Can't really cross a ball, but has pace so doesn't get burned as often as Kolarov.
Delph - HG so not going anywhere, and deserves another season. Need to keep him could lead to Fernando's departure as he's better in the middle.
Fernando - Beenplaying better and helps the defence. Useful squad player, yet could go since Delph is similar, is HG, and we sign two key centre midfielders.
Navas - Frustrating with inconsistent final product and non threat to score. An option off the bench with his pace, work rate, and ability to help the defence.
Silva - Really 8 of us? Talent vs money back from sale not worth it. Unless his ankle is done will surely be staying despite not tracking back so well.
Denyaer - If we sign Stones & LaPorte then possible, unless LaPorte plays some left back. Replaces MDM. Contingent upon Mangala's/Nico's future.

So we are now in August and we still have not moved anyone on yet. Still a month to go, but one would've thought that those likely to be shown the door would have already gone by now.

MDM gone.
I really want to see the back of Fernando and Nasri because they are wank.
Not heartbreaking to see Kola, Bony go.
I won't kill myself over Yaya, Zabba (though sad) nor Jesus. I have a weird feeling Denayer worth keeping.
I wouldn't even be totally destroyed if Kompany or Fernandinho were out the door.

With the way Pep has been talking about him he's going nowhere. Also reports are we are trying to extend his contract.

Know what you mean but to many positions to be sorted before the players can be moved on.
Hard to move on GK, defenders and midfielders as there are no replacements in yet.
For ex, GK, CBs, FBs and midfield are not sorted yet (I don't think Gundogan is a direct replacement for anybody).

With Nolito + Sane (assuming he signs) - then the wide players/wingers area can be cleared out.

Regardless, it is not going to be easy to shift some of them, they are on to much money and to close to loyalty bonuses and being free agents.
