Lawro and Degenerate predictions v Chelsea

Lawro and Merson are at odds this week, which means it will probably be a draw!

Lawro's opponents for this weekend's Premier League fixtures are actors Idris Elba and Richard Madden, who feature in new film 'Bastille Day'.

Elba, also the star of TV shows Luther and The Wire, took the lead in the predictions because former Game of Thrones actor Madden says he is "more of a rugby man".

London-born Elba is an Arsenal fan who says following the Gunners this season has been like watching a snooker player who cannot put away a pot.

Lawro says

Guus Hiddink's unbeaten record in the league was ended by that defeat by Swansea last week, and he could be facing another loss here.

Manchester City have started to look like a team and, with players coming back from injury, they have started to get a bit more competition for places.

It was great to see City reach the Champions League semi-finals this week. The draw does not take place until Friday but they can now go on and make the final too.

Nobody will really want to play them. If I were City, I would like to play Real Madrid because they are a team that always give you chances.

Lawro's prediction: 1-2

Idris Elba's prediction: 1-2

Merson says

The gap between Manchester City in fourth and Manchester United in fifth is just five points and I fully expect Louis van Gaal's side to close the gap by the time kick-off comes around at Stamford Bridge. It's a massive game for City.

They had a brilliant result in midweek and you have to hand it to them after they reached the Champions League semi-finals, but they cannot take their eye off the ball against Chelsea. It's still a huge ask to win the Champions League so the league is crucial. However, I think Chelsea will win this and blow the top four wide open.

PAUL PREDICTS: 2-1 (Sky Bet odds 17/2)

Think DC might be closer with his prediction than Lawro, but his "reasoning and logic" week by week is laughable as he changes his mind so often. This will be a really tough fixture at a historically difficult venue for us. Take a draw
