Ended the season with 50 goals and got 156 in his four years at PSG. Awesome stats it must be said

You can only play what's in front of you. No one else has even got to within half of his goals. 39 a year for four years is phenomenal no matter what league you play in. I know he really polarises opinion but they are some decent stats whatever your take on him is.

His record of winning league titles, though off on a tangent slightly, is nothing short of incredible as well. He must be doing something right is all I can say

Oh, I'm not suggesting for even a second I'd want him at City. Just pointing out he has some great stats. He will go to the rags

BBC tweeting that apparently he is going to the rags....as Maureen's assistant!

That's two huge egos and if not seeing eye to eye could implode spectacularly. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately a great signing for United

He will.
But I stick to my guns. Glad we don't have him.
He's a short term solution for them. Unfortunately looks like it will pay off before they implode with him an Mourinho.

With his size and arrogance he will definitely score goals. Not prone to injuries then you've got to say that he will be there or thereabouts for the Golden Boot ........ if he doesn't piss everybody off!

2 games in the prem and 2 goals and apart from that he has been pretty anonymous. I think I would take a goal a game from someone playing crap.

3 goals from 2 prem matches plus 1 when they won the league against Leicester 2 weeks ago.

Notice the ref, Mr I am a rag Taylor. Let's see how many tins the Wythenshawe rag gets them this season.

When I seen him in the middle of the pitch I knew there were issues. If the PL/PiGMOL are roling him out already, against a team who have been picked apart by Rags and Arse, then you know they mean business.

Back to the good old days, eh.

Anybody see the offside/shirt pulling/touch on shoulder incident that was disallowed for the Saints? Seeing it only in text he seemed that they were scambling around for the reason not to give it.

I never took to him, he just comes across as a self absorbed asshole. It didn't take long for Pep to part company with him at Barcelona.
