Christian Eriksen

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Christian Eriksen

Am I the only person who would have him in a heartbeat? He has it all, great vision, can hit a freekick properly, if we ever had to replace Silva, he'd be the man I'd be hoping we sign, massive admirer of him!
Tick tock tick tock.

He already 'turned us down' before he signed for Spurs.

Didn't think today was his best, but I have been impressed this season.

Yep great vision and technique. Had a great season but does have inconsistent spells. There are one or two I would swap him for.

As a player, like KDB, he is always looking to play the ball forward. That is something really underrated. I like him

Didn't he say he wants to join a big club when we wanted him? Not us?

Fuck the twat, he is just a discount Silva.

He said he didn't want to sit on our bench.

Yes. Also been impressed with him this season. I think we'd have to wait a season, and Pep seems to have other targets in mind. However, we have been known to sign players no one knew we were in for.

We are Manchester City, we do things the hard/expensive way. He terrorised us over in Amsterdam, anyone there that night could see he had something about him that city were missing under Mancini, incidentally the same thing now missing under Pellegrini.

But no. Instead of taking a punt on him at £15m as he would have been at the time, we will probably go for him this summer for £70m.

Our scouting setup and transfer decision making is fucking woeful

As someone else mentioned, he wasn't at his best yesterday...not even close. And yet still impacted the match.

Would have been a great player for us had we signed him when Spartychops mentioned. Now, it's too little too late and we've moved on.

cheers

Are you just completely ignoring the fact that we tried to sign him back in the summer of 2012?
