Referee is going to send Carroll off. Lucky to still be on the pitch

I think I want West Ham to win. Then City win scum lose and we have a real chance of third which avoids a CL qualifying round which would fuck up our pre season.

A Carroll hat trick was a million miles away after his early booking. Ref doing all he can to stop West Ham winning

I'd take a draw. But there'll be more goals

Should get within two of Arsenal today. City Arsenal match will be crucial in fight for third.

embarrassing defending from Newcastle. already 1-0 down. thats why they're going down.

Wow, what Taylor just did is probably the worst piece of defending in the Premier League this whole season. Diabolic!

I worry that not only we have to win that game but that we can't drop any more points at all elsewhere, which also concerns me given how close Utd and West Ham are. Looking at Arsenal's fixture list makes me think we might have benefited more from them winning today so we can worry a bit less about the rear view mirror.

Arsenal are at home 4 of 6 matches, and have a lot of relegation fodder, including Villa at home the last week. The only away match is against Sunderland.

After today we have 4 of 6 away including Chelsea (A), Southampton (A), and both home games against good opponents (Arsenal & Stoke).

Utd has a bit of a mixed schedule but hopefully will drop all points against Spurs away tomorrow. Assuming we win today that would put us 5 points clear of them with 6 games to play. Bad news is they play Villa at home next week whilst we have Chelsea away, so they could gain all points right back if we stumble.

Their toughest remaining matches are Leicester (H) and West Ham (A).

It is really going to be a battle the last month and a half. I am very nervous, and not confident just yet, although the return of KDB and Nasri could continue to get us back into gear.

Ronaldo has scored again for Madrid. He has now scored at least 30 la Liga goals in the last six seasons. Unprecedented. That is some achievement

Got a stay of execution as Norwich have gone behind at Palace.
Just delaying the inevitable though.
