are fucked. Clueless in his set-ups, substitutions and choice of squad players, his favourites don't even play for him. Sack him now or we take a huge step backwards as a club.

What the fuck does Guardiola's opinion have anything to do with this?

The OP is right - Pellers needs to be shown the door, he's clueless and we have regressed under him. The risk of us not finishing in the top 4 is too great and I don't think we will whilst he remains in charge

The owners don't appoint managers on an interim basis. or most importantly knee jerk decisions when they have a replacement lined up in the summer and when there is still something to play for. Whether it is trying to qualify for a top 4 place or still being in a European competition . Wetting the bed or throwing all you toys out of the pram will not bring him to City any quicker.

You will get your wish in the summer but harsh to call Demichelis an idiot as he had only been kept on as cover.

None of us are expert football managers, none of us have won major league honours, but I don't know anyone - on this board or outside in the real world - who thinks that Bony and Demichelis are the answer. We are a team built in the image of YaYa Toure - somebody hand us a f-ing cake.

If I was the Sheikh I'd expect Manuel and the rest of the cast of Fawlty Towers to explain what the f-k is going on and why I should even sanction their next BACS transferred wage packet.

This isn't about the Pep announcement otherwise we wouldn't have turned up for the Carling/Milk/Rumbelows Cup Final (as we didn't against Wigan or Middlesbrough in the aftermath of managers leaving news) or the first leg of the Chumps league against Kiev.

Allowing Manuel to leave now might just see us scrap 4th - keeping him there is almost suicidal. I don't fancy Pep's job of rebuilding this team - almost certainly his toughest brief to date!

Who would you (or others) will appoint now until the end of the season? No manager in their right mind will want to take over on a short term basis and when there is somebody lined up in the summer and when there is little time for him to make his mark.

I'd take over. Promise to play Nacho ahead of Bony, Tosin ahead of Demi, thank Silva for his past magic but replace him with someone, anyone who can currently pass and run and tell Sterling to grow a pair. Do I get the job?

How would you handle Yaya? Who would you bring in as part of your coaching staff?

I'd bring Kompany in as my coaching staff. I'd handle Yaya by adding Abidjan City to the CFG and making both him and Bony their "crack" players of the inaugural Ivorian Super League season

Wetting the fucking bed? He's coming to win us the Champions League and won't even be in it.

Guardiola providing he qualifies us for the season after will then have 2 years to achieve that. In his first season in charge he has a chance in winning the Europa League on top of getting the balance right in the domestic competitions. As for sacking Pellegrini now, it is pointless at this stage with their first choice successor in place. It is a similar situation to last season where were cutting it to fine, but we did eventually achieve the bare minimum. Which isn't great from a supporters point of view but it is the targets that had been set by the hierarchy when they hired him in the first place.

Top four must come first for the future of the football club under Pep. However it seems Pellegrini is willing to risk this with his own ideas of winning CL...... With this group? All a bit foolish and selfish if you ask me and will impact the club massively.

I wonder if Guardiola has a clause that allows him to turn us down if we aren't top 4 ?

I'd be surprised if he hasn't. If we do or we don't(under this idiot I believe we won't) finish in top 4 don't under estimate Peps task. The squad is well past its best with some players not making the grade at their best. Good luck Pep and Goodbye Pellegrini

I really think that if/when Demichelis writes an autobiography, he'll say that one of the biggest regrets of his career was staying on this extra season. You can see in his face every time he pays that he knows that he's not up to it.

Pellers behaviour both after the game and in the press conference shows the strain is now affecting him. I have never seen him so tetchy. Was not a happy bunny.

Of course he is, He is watching his CL bonus go down the river. Q/F was minimum, not Q well that will be 0.

Isn't going to happen so close to season end and him going anyway. The media would rip us to shreds over it and all we'd hear is of how fickle we have become after the trophies he's brought us. Season can't end quick enough and when Pep arrives we will see what happens next. All part of the City story.

I'll be here after the internationals and still hoping for a strong finish.
