Yeah, didn't he get sent off during the game against NY Red Bulls? Could be as a result of that. I was wondering why only the LAG manager was being shown on TV.

Edit:

Maybe it was during another game. Comment from a report of last night's game on MLSsoccer.com:

At the end of the Columbus game he said some not so nice things to the ref regarding the free kick call that led to the late goal by Columbus. He was sent off, after the final whistle, along with Maxime Chanot.

Edit Edit:

But then again maybe not as that report of the match includes the piece:

assistant Christian Lattanzio, who filled in for a suspended Patrick Vieira for a second consecutive home game

This being the second home game immediately following the NY Red Bulls game.

Patrick's just a very naughty boy.

Vieira was in the stadium and apparently watching from one of the hospitality suites.

Particularly at Yankee Stadium.

It did not used to be this intense, as (the old) Yankee Stadium used to have weed smokers in the stands, fights regularly, and might have been like going to a football match in England in the 1980s (same period where it was wild) where it was dominated by a working class crowd (particularly in "The Bleachers" where I used to sit when I cared about the sport).

But it's become an uber santized version of American patriotism/nationalistim there since 11 September 2001 and stayed that way for good. "God Bless America" was never a song you would hear before then. Now it's also "normal."

Also a lot of us Yanks love our over the top American Idol screaming divas in our pop singing everywhere now. It's out of control if you ask me, affecting the quality and range of the genre.

Whatever happened to this new stadium that got blocked? Has it died a death now and are we stuck in Yankee Stadium forever? If any stadium looks old it is that one.

Not much progress according to an article I read just over a month ago.

Ugh. I would actually like to go to games if they were in an actual football stadium. Oh the irony. It's also not helping the team to play the way CFG want at home because of the pitch size.

David Villa is leading the Golden Boot race.

Vieira seems to be doing great and it's a good place to cut his managerial teeth. Working with men, as opposed to kids, who have a huge difference in status and raw ability.
Two year stint in New York before coming back to England to join Pep's team and developing his skills.

Too simplistic?????
