Rashford or Messi?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Rashford or Messi?

Postby Dimples » Sun Feb 28, 2016 7:58 pm

Rashford for me.

Reports from his lates heroics have convinced me.

Rashford averages 2 goals a game.
Does it in Europe.
Does it in the PL.
Has superb movement and awareness.
Is cool under pressure.
Pace and directness.
Don't have enough space for all the superlatives I have heard today.

Telling you this guy has it all.
Messi, Suarez and Neymar a poor mans Rashford, Macheda and Januzaj

We've just won a trophy and you start a thread about a United player.

Apologies mods and forum posters.
Please remove post if it is inappropriate.

I was traveling most of today and was listening to the radio.
The League Cup Final was mentioned as an aside.
75% of the talk was about Rashford being the 2nd coming.

As we won a major trophy today and the coverage was minimal, the Rashford love-in sounded particularly foolish.
Just thought I'd underline that foolishness with a foolish comparison.

I cannot believe I come on this board and find a thread dedicated to a rag, I know it is tongue in cheek, but this should be considered alongside such offences as swearing in titles

Rashford couldn't do it for their 21's against City at the Etihad 2 weeks ago so I think Messi might just edge it.

You all obviously missed the story that City turned him down because he was too short.

Fairs fair. Two games and four goals. I know if Faupaula for example did that we would be very excited at the prospect.

The rags though have a habit of building up their players too early, along with the media in general it must be said, so if they don't make it, the fall seems bigger. Janujazz anyone?
