The famous Grand Slam Sunday, but where are the Rags and Dippers?

*sniggers*

Big game. 3 points is all that matters. A draw minimum.

A win today puts us in a very good position going into 3 cup games.

And gets rid of my week-long depression!

Catching the 11.36 train into deansgate then beer time in the city center with the lads. Massive game no excuses even with all the injuries , the manager , the players have to be right on it from the kick off to the final whistle , nothing but 100% from all will do today .
Dig deep give everything and 3 pts will be ours ..........

That Vince is back has given me some hope and I'm hoping for a real leaders performance from him which rubs off on the rest of them.

I'm expecting that he'll limp off 5 mins in with a calf injury after collapsing on Aguero & breaking every bone in his body. But let's go with hope for now

Usually when I'm going to a game i somehow feel confident no matter how shit we are and how good the opponent is supposed to be but today I can't help but feel it's gonna be another embarrassing performance.

COME ON CITY!!

Just off to the pub before making my way to the game. I'm in surprisingly sanguine mood and reckon we'll win. Although the idea of an early pint always helps the mood.

I have loved him but if Yaya starts today I can't see us winning this match. He's 33 in May and would make a fantastic impact sub.

My memory is shocking but what game recently did he start on the bench? Came on around the hour mark and was fanfuckingtastic.

I'm usually pessimistic about City, hard to shake years of crap. And after last week's embarrassment, I'd have taken 0-1 today. But I've just got a feeling that last week was that utter shambles of a performance we often have that knocks us back into gear. Maybe, just maybe, the run starts here
