That's the spirit. It'll be flat as fuck if those going to the stadium have the same attitude of some on here.

It'll be flat as fuck if the players have the same attitude as last week. But they won't. Today's our day, I can feel it in my water. But that could just be Cystitis

I just want to see the players live up to the Club motto from the first whistle. If they do we'll win. Simple as that.

Given the injuries that's the best side he could have picked.

At least the line up appears to keep toure out of harms way. If he can be arsed, we've got half a chance of scoring a few with that front 4

On the other hand, at least we can't possibly play as bad as villa are currently, absolute fucking shambles.

That looks a great line-up considering, and if you don't take into account Vinnie and Dave coming back from injury.

If Vinnie isn't fully fit, this isn't the game for him to be coming back. Pellers must be confident.

On a positive note Otamendi was winning MOM performances a left centre half

On a serious note, we are due a fucking break on the injury front if you pardon the pun, I hope his gamble pays off

Can we keep these stats up?

Head-to-head

Manchester City have beaten Tottenham in each of their last five home games.

They have scored 10 goals in their last two matches against Spurs at the Etihad Stadium, winning 6-0 and 4-1.

Spurs' 4-1 win in the reverse fixture was only their second victory in 11 league games against City (W2, D1, L8).

The last nine league meetings have produced 41 goals - an average of 4.5 goals per game.

Sergio Aguero has scored 10 goals in eight Premier League appearances against Tottenham. He is the leading 2016 goalscorer so far with seven goals.

I fancy it today beefy, gone 5-1 in the score thread. These could hammer us on their day, but they have a soft centre, particularly against us at our place

I've gone for a win, just not by that margin. You never know though, we're very capable if it comes together. And they'll be more open than some of our other opposition.

We owe them one anyway, especially the fucking referee and lino!
