Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Just so everyone knows. The mini derby is live on BT sport with an 8pm kick off tonight.
It's also live on MUTV for anyone who may have that horrible channel as a freebie with their satellite package.
Thought I would make it a global sticky and take it down tomorrow to.make people aware.
Also. My French team Trellisac (down the road from where i lived in france) have got through to the latter rounds of the French cup. They beat lille in the last round for their biggest ever victory in their history. They play Marseille tonight and it's on super sports 2 I believe. I think the missus will be unhappy tonight. ;-)

Brandon Barker Previews:
City EDS will look to follow up their impressive 3-0 win at Liverpool by winning the U21 Manchester derby on Thursday evening.
The young Blues trail the Reds by seven points in the Barclays U21 Premier League, but can close the gap to four points with a win over second-placed United at Leigh Sports Village.
Brandon Barker made two goals and scored the other in the win at Anfield and the young winger is hoping City claim the bragging rights to get themselves back on the trail of leaders Sunderland.
And with another league game against the Reds to come later this month, these fixtures could shape the remainder of Simon Davies' side's campaign.
"It’s a massive fixture, you dream about playing in these games," said Barker.
"There’s nothing better than playing in a City versus Manchester United fixture. It’s live on TV as well so there will be a lot of people watching. It’s going to be a good encounter.
"I’m a City fan so that will add that extra bit to if we win. It’s always good to play in these sort of games; they’re massive matches and as a player, it’s what you want to be involved in.
"It’s another game in the league, we want to attack every game in the exact same way but playing against United means that everyone gives that bit extra and everyone is at the peak of their game in training in the build up.
"I’m really looking forward to the game and hopefully, we can bring back three points."

What team do we expect United to put out? They've been playing a lot of over aged players in youth matches of late, some with comparatively substantial first team appearances

Jones coming back from.injury
Mcnair is used to get game time
Romero is used too
Depay was used last week
Keane is regularly used even though he is 23
Jizzinureye pulled a hammy so unlikely
They are an early kick off 12.45 on Saturday so I expect any one that might be involved in the first team squad to be rested.

Never mind them, I like the look of ours.
When is the return match. Is that the one just before the Chelsea game?
