Putting to one side that Joe wants to stay put... I think if forced he'd set his sights higher than Neverton, Manuel or no Manuel at the helm

Voted best keeper in the Champions league. He wouldn't be short of a few champions league suitors after his signature. Everton would be way down on his list

I mentioned it a few months ago on here but he's being touted as a long term replacement for Neuer (i know Ter Stegen and others are currently ahead of Karius in the GNT currently but he's young enough to be part of the U-21s still so better for him to start there than ride the bench behind Neuer). could be an unfortunate oversight on City's part.

So one of Maureens first public appearance as swamp boss will be him being cross examined by a RAG, if carlsberg did court cases....

The Europa League now has lot more significance due to the winners going into the following seasons CL so I think most teams will take it more seriously. Thursday night football has got a lot more desirable imo.
