Thatd make the Stones deal only approx £22m.

Come on Koeman. Do us a solid.

That's not how money works.

Unless Bony is worth zero

That's generous.

Honestly. This net nonsense is not how accounting works. I blame the scousers.

EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal set to make surprise £30m offer for striker

ARSENE WENGER is set to launch a £30m bid for unwanted Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony.

By David Woods, Chief Sports Writer / Published 10th August 2016

The Ivorian outcast stayed in Manchester on Sunday when City lost 3-2 to Wenger’s Arsenal in a pre-season friendly in Gothenburg.

And Etihad boss Pep Guardiola dropped a massive hint the ex-Swansea star is on his way out by later revealing Bony and centre back Eliaquim Mangala only remained Manchester City players “at the moment”.

It is understood factions at the Gunners are urging Wenger to sanction a move for the 27-year-old, as he is the best option available at the moment.

PLAN B: Arsenal's top targets have all rejected them so far

But the Frenchman has yet to be convinced about signing a player who struggled to make an impact at City following his £25m move from Swansea in January of last year.

In Wales the powerful hitman was a massive success, scoring 34 goals in 56 starts but he has managed only ten with City.

Despite supporters’ constant calls for a new centre-forward, Wenger has stubbornly continued to support Frenchman Olivier Giroud and England star Theo Walcott in that position.

Wenger suffered a fresh setback yesterday when Brazilian defender Gabriel was ruled out for two months with an ankle injury.

Arsenal are already without centre-backs Per Mertesacker (knee) and Laurent Koscielny, who reported back late back for training following his run to the Euro 2016 final with France.

Bony to Everton seems more likely. £25 million.

You should start it Hazy, get yourself on to Twitter and call yourself SuperAgent or some such, it'll snowball in no time.

I think he will end up at Swansea, probably a loan deal of some sort.

I think he will score a lot of goals elsewhere.
Funnily enough Everton might just suit him. Who knows, Arsenal might be good too.

If he's used in a role that suits him he can be very effective. When we played Bournemouth last season you could see what he's capable of when he's paired with a small speedy player to act as a foil for.

I fully expect him to score against us when we face him.

Bony is a decent player,If Ayew is 20 mill he is the same all day long. Aguero is doing a Messi to the forwards at City, they have to adapt to his game,,, Zlatan, Villa, were asked to do things they were not great at Barca, Until Neymar and Suarez arrived it was a one man forward line, like us. Sane and Mojito Brown, give us the options that will suit the team without compromising the MF.
