Guardian says we're on the edge to sign all three of Gabriel Jesus, Sane, and Marlos Moreno. Funny though how Mr. Jackson has to point out that we're going to "spend past £100m" as if the rags aren't trying to spend that on one player

https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... los-moreno

Some people say Jesus is the best Brazilian talent since Neymar. All I know is he was one hell of an impressive youtube:

A little bit better than Kolarov

One thing to keep in mind about Gabriel Jesus is he won't join until January, allegedly so he can stay with his team until the season is over.

I've also only been looking up the videos or what has been already posted, but he is highly coveted, that's for certain. We've evoked a reaction of anger from the Real Madrid prez over Pep allegedly convincing the player to join us via a phone call, and United have also been desperately trying to hijack the deal as well, reportedly offering double the wages we agreed to, and a significantly higher fee.

First was about 2 weeks ago, and the 2nd earlier in the month (skip to about 1:27 to see the game).

You'll notice he is quite brave and likes to get his head on the ball, even whilst in defence, which could kill the stereotypes (although we also have the 2 Ferns who are certainly tough and brave). Seems much stronger than the stereotypical Brazilian forward with flair.

Very excited based on what I have seen. Could the "sleeper" signing of the summer. Our own Renanto Sanches-like signing.

He looks a bit sloppy in the tackle and aggressive, so I could see picking up some cards, but he seems to have a good work rate.

I guess with us signing Sane and the South American lads, we've decided there's no future for the likes of Roberts and Barker etc? All pretty much the same age and play same positions

I think that's a bit harsh in terms of analysis.

We want competition for all positions, and you need to be VERY VERY VERY good to make it into our first team, and the other two players are certainly considered better right now as they already perform well at a higher level. The other two could end up being part of the squad in the near future, they just need to prove themselves further elsewhere.

Announced Higuain to Juve for £75M.

I expect to see the big deals start to roll now.
They have Benatia as well.
Wonder who Juve will let leave - Pogba or Bonucci or both?

So if Pogba goes to Utd, clearly for the money, instead of staying with a widely loved club by the media and fans for their industrious play, where sometimes they sell their bigest players to richer clubs, and is the club that has helped him become such a star...

Shouldn't he be booed mercilessly every time he touches the ball with perhaps some fans crying, "Shame! Shame!" (Game of thrones style) Over and over?

£75 mill for him is absolutely ludicrous!

Crazy, crazy money.

Actually makes the Pogba deal look more reasonable. It's that crazy.

It really does! As a side, I think Pogba is destined for Real still.

Yes it is a crazy price and he is 29 in December.

Pogba, a £100M gamble IMO. Far from being a guaranteed success.
His biggest problem is he goes MIA - regularly.
He is no Tranny. Messi or Bale who would sell for similar amounts.
Whoever buys Pogba is rolling the dice.

No he'll be looked as the guy that saved Juve and helping them get out of there 180m debt or some other bullshit.

It's ludicrous and baffling. If Italian football wasn't so ethical I would be.a bit suspicious.

Mase, I will remind you that the fee includes the purchase of a barn door and a banjo. Not sure about the origins of the banjo but the barn door handle has joseph and mary's fingerprints on it.

I think it's a good move by Juventus. Higuain will score plenty in Serie A and goalscorers in Italy are relatively rare. Midfielders and defenders are fairly plentiful. Thus if they sell Pogba or Bonucci it will be good business squad wise and should see them win the next few Scudetto's and possibly repeat their performances in CL from a year ago.

No way they have spent that money and not got a deal in place to sell Pogba or Bonucci or both. Most likely Pogba. Piss myself if we announced we bought him from under Mourinho's nose

I have this ickle feeling that maybe we could end up with him. He said end of last season that he'd love to work under Pep and also that he wouldn't go back to Manure.
