Wow. Now that's an insane drop off.

Shows you how much Champions League football means to many players.

For him to be turfed out of Arsenal means that there are major problems. It's no surprise though, with his rumoured lifestyle is it any wonder that he keeps getting injured.

He better not go leading young Paddy down the wrong path.

Paddy will be leading the way. The little salad dodger won't be able to catch him.

Celtic? Fucking hell, they are Championship standard. He'd be better off at Newcastle

Nasri seen in Seville, so he's clearly off as well.

Bony or Mangala next?

Can you lot believe Yaya Toure is still around?

What are the chances of him leaving tomorrow? None.

According to Sky, Chelsea are getting desperate. They are bidding for David Luiz for £30m. This would rank alongside the weirdest transfers in recent memory

You mean a multi-million pound deal for a player they had previously sold? It beggars belief, doesn't it? ;)

Chelsea's transfer policy is a bit strange if they get Luiz back, they tried to get Lukaku back and sold off KDB for a relatively small fee.

But didn't they previously sell him for about £50 million ??

Surely they won't get him back for a 'mere' £30 million, would they ??

Thanks to the Pogba transfer, it won't look as barmy as it is.

if I was PSG id take that. maybe try to get them a little bit higher, but with so little time left thats a risk.
they have better CBs at the club and Luiz is terrible.

Makes the original 50m transfer to PSG seem even more like money laundering or something equally as dodgy now

Its more that he is not a great player. The money side is largely irrelevant. He must have been fourth or fifth choice. Can't see how Chelsea's defence improves significantly with him in it

According to reports Chelsea enquired about Marquinhos and we're told no but they can have Luiz. The new coach subbed Luiz off at the weekend when they were well beaten by Monaco.

Mind you, NB, who would have thought previously that Kolarov could do a job at centre-back and not make a complete mess of it. So far, he's amazed everyone by looking fairly capable in that position and Pep obviously saw something in him that everyone, except good old Mase, didn't see.

Perhaps Conte might have the Midas touch himself and succeed in turning this Brazilian clown into a decent defender ??

Footnote :- as I type this there are several pigs flying past my window.

Very much so. Convenient way to get around FFP, which Maureen was complaining about at the time.
